CITY LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (LDR); PROVNING
FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERAHILiTY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 20, 1992, the City of Longwood adopted its Comprehensive Plan
(Ordinance 1019) pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 163, Pan [I, Florida Statutes and Chapter
91-5 Florida Administrative Code; and
WHEREAS, on November 19, 1993 the Florida Departmem of Community Affairs
tletermined the City's Comprehensive Plan was iv oomplianca with the requirements of Chapter 163,
Part II, Florida Stazutes and Chapter 9J-5. Florida Administrative Codo; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 163.3174 (4) (a). Florida Statutes rzquires the Land Planning Agenty
(LPA) w make recommendations to the governing body regarding amendments to the Comprehensive
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the LPA held e public hearing on June 12, 2002 to wnsider the Small Scale
Plan .Amendmem requert: and recommended the proposed Small Scale Plan Amendment (SPA 03-
02) be approved by the City Commission; end
WHEREAS, the City Commission held a public hearing July l.. 2002 and again on
July I S- 2002 pursuam to the roquiramems of'Chaptar I63.3I8~. FS.
