NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The lands adsorbed and shown on the map in Schedule A, attachetl hereto, be and the same are hereby annexed to antl includetl within the corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Floritla. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Longwood, Florida does hereby final that the lands described In Section 1 a contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Floritla, that sat tl lands meet the criteria established by Chapter 171,FIorlda Statufes that said lends should be annexed, and hereby consent to the annexation. Section 4. Upon annexation. the lands described in Section 1 all retain a ping and land use Gassh shostien established by the Seminole County Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Land Use Plan until othenxise changed or amended by appropriate ordinance of the City of Longwood. Florida. Section 5. Etta tme as provitled by law, all real property lying within the boundaries of the corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Florida, as hereby revised, shall be assessed for payment of municipal ad valorem taxes. Section 6. All persons who have been lawfully engaged in any cupaten, business, trade or profession within the area described in Section 1 above, upon the effective date of this Ordinance under a valid or permit therefore issued by Seminole County. Florida, shall have right to continue such occupation, business, trade or profession within the entire corporate limits of the City of Longwood, ris ei upon the sconnng of a -lid occupational license from the City of LongWOOQ which license shall be issued upon payment of the appropriate fee therefore. Section 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ortlinance with the Office of the Secretary of the State of Florida, the Offce of the 6ovemor of the State of Florida. the Clerk of Court of Seminole County, Property Appraiser and the Seminole County Tax Collector, within 7 days from the effective date of the o,di mod Section 8 Conflicts.
