FLORIDA, AS AMENDED; SAID AMENDMENT CfIANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION UP 'rHE PARCEL OF LAND
DESCRIBED HEREIN (RZ Ofi-99) FROM COUNTY
COMMERCIAL UISTIHCT (C-Z) TO CITY COMMERCIAL
GENERAL (C-~); PROVIDING FUR CONFLICTS,
SEVF.RABILITY ANU EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 20.1992. the City o(lungwood adapted a comDrehevsive
plan (Ordinance 1019) pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 163. part IL Florida
Statutes end Chapter 9}5, Ploritla Administrative Code; and
W HERF.AS, on November 19. 1993, the Florida Department ofCOmmunity
AtTaire determined the City's Coinprehanaive Plan was M COMPLIANCE with the
reyuvments of Chapter 163. Pan II, Florida Statutes and Chapter 91-5, Florida
Administrative Code; end
W HF,REAS. Chapter 161_ Pan II requires the City to implement the adopted Plan
by Iand developmem regulations; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the amhority of Chapters 166.041 and 1633202, I'lorida
Statutev' tha City evaded a Iand Development Code; avd
WHEREAS, Chapter 2420.05 of the City Code enablishes an Otf~ al Zon'ne
Map for the City ofLongwood: and
WHEREAS, ChaDtce 163.1124 (4), Florida Statures requires flat the Land
Planning Agenoy review proposed laud development regulations. or amendments thereto.
for consistevcy with the adopted Plan. as may be amended; aM
