AS AMENDED; SAID AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF THE PARCEL OF LAND DESCRIBED HEREIN
(RZ 03-99) FROM COUNTY AGRICULTURI? (A-1) TO CITY
COMMF,RCIAL GENERAL (C.-3); PROVIDING POR CONFLICTS,
SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
W HEREAS, on July 20.1992, the City of Longwood adopted a comprehensive plan
(Ordinance 1019) pursuant to the requiremerru ofChapter 163, Pan 1I, Florida Stamms and
Chapter 915, Florida Admivistmtive Code; vnd
WHEREAS, on November 19.1993, the Florida Department of Community Affairs
determined the City's Comprehensive Plan was IN COMPLIANCE with the regv'vements of
Chapter 163, Pan 11, Florida Smtutes and Chapter 913. Florida Administrative Code; avd
WHEREAS, Chaprer 163, Pan II requires the City ro implement the adopted Plan by
land development regulations; and
W HERF,AS, pursuant m the amhority of Chapters 166.041 and 163.3?0?. Florida

WHEREAS, Chap[er 24-20.0> of the City Code_ esmblishes an Offc el Zou'ne Mao for
the City of 1-Dogwood; and
W HERCAS, Chapter 163.31 J4 (4), Florida Statutes requires that the Land Planning
Agency review proposed land development regulations. or amendments thereto. for consistency
with the adopted Plan. as may be amended: and
