ORDINANCE NO. 1019, SAIU ORf11NANCE HEING THE COMPRENEN4IVF. PLAN
FOR THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA; SAID SMALL SCALE PLAN
AMENDMENT (AMENDMENT 9]-A-1) CHANGING THF, LAND USE DESIGNATION
IN THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE COMPRF.HFNSIVF. PLAN FROM
COUNTY INDUSTRIAL TO CITY LIGHT INDUSTRIAL A'f THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF CR 42] AND MARVIN AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS,
CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on 1Wy 20, 1992, the City of Longwood adopted a comprehensive plan
(Ord'varce 1019) pusuant to the requhemmts ofCheptu 163, Part IL Florida Statutes and Cha0rer
91-5, Florida AdmiWstretive Code; and
WHEREAS, on November I9, 1993, the Florida DeDanrrtem of Commwvty A1ia'vs
r daermined Uw Citys CompreherisiveP~wav 1N COMPWANCE with the regulremmts of Chapter
163. Pan II, Florida Statutes and Chaptu 9,1-5, Florida Admiulstretive Code; and
WHEREAS Chapter 1fi1.3174 (4) (a), Pbrga Statutes, caqu'ves the Land Plmming Agency
(LPA) to make reconmleMa[ions to the governing body regarding amendments to the Comprehensive
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the LPA held e public hearing on October 8, 199] which resulted m a
rwommeMetion that Amendment 97-A-3 be adopted by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Ciry Commission held a public herring on Oatobec 20, 1997 end voted to
adopt small scale Amenment 97-A-3. pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 163.3187, F.S.; and
