AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORI REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. 995, AS AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE BEING APPENpIX A (THE ZONING
ORDINANCE) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY 0£ LONGWOOD, FLORI-A,
REPEALING ORUINANCE 971, A MORATORIUM ON BILLBOARD CONSTRUCTION;
REPEALING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE CITY CODE CONCERNING OTNER
ASPECTS OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATION; REPLACING THE REPEALED
SECTIONS WITH A NEW CHAPTER 24 OF THE CITY CODE; SAID CHAPTER 24
BEING THE OFFICIAL LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR THE CITY OF LONGWOO-,
SATO CODE PRWIDING FOR PERMITTEp, CONDITIONAL AND ACCESSORY USES;
PROVIDING FOR SIGN AND HTLLBOOARD CONTROLS, PROVIO2NG SOR REDUCING
THE REVIEW PROCESS, PROVIDING FOR THE LOCATION OF TELECOMMUNICATION
TOWERS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, HEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHeREAS, on July 20, 1992, the Cicy of Longwood adopted a
comprehensive plan (OCdinancz 1019) pursuant to the requirements of
Chapter 163, Par[ IZ, Floritla Statutes antl Chapter 9J-5, Florida

ordinances as des cribetl by Chapter 166.091, Florida Statutes; and

known as Che Land D velopmeni Code. The Lantl Development Code
