wveh the assistance, vnvestigatiDn and recommendation of the
Longwood Police Department, has determined that certavn regulations
necessary provide for Che public safety and convenvence on
cere avn roadways, se reets and public thoroughfares by reason of
traffic density, intensive use thereof by the travelling public and
and welfare of Che residents of the City of Longwood [o have such
regulations and prohibicions.
SECTION I. Chapter 22, Section 22-9 is hereby amended to
add a new subsection (b) specifying cere avn roads, streets and
Choroughf aces which are subject Co a gross vehicle weight of 12,000
pounds. Lhe following roads are subject to the 12,000 pound weighe
limit on commercial vehicles and trucks:

drive any commercial vehicle or Cruck, which vehicle or [ruck has
a grass vehicle weight in excess of srx thousand (6,000) pounds,

vehicles, city maintained trucks, vehicles making local pick-ups or
deliveries, and those trucks or commercial vehicles having prior
wrreten permission co do so by the police chief during the time of
natronal emergencies or by consent of the City Commrssron of Che
CiCy of Longwood.
SECTION I SecCaons 22-41b) and (c) shall be renumbered to
Section 22-6 and shall apply to Sections 22-4 and 22-5.
