WHEREAS, the City Commission o£ the city of Longwood, Florida (City) adopted the City of Longwood, Florida Comprehensive Plan by Ordinance No. 1019 on July 20, 1992; and WHEREAS, the State of Florida, pepartment o£ community Affairs the Comprehensive Plan Not in Compliance" with the State Comprehensive Plan, the East Central Floritla Comprehensive Regional Policy Plan, and Chapter 9J-5, Florida Administrative Code, and referred the matter to the atate o£ Flozida Division o£ Administrative Hearings for administrative hearing; and WHERE , the City and DCA have negotiated a Stipulated settlement Agreement Eor amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to resolve ECA s objections to the Comprehensive Plan and thereby dispense with the necessity of an administrative hearing; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City o£ Longwood, Florida previously adopted Resolet.ion No. s3-~ providing for approval o{ a Stipulated Settlement Agreement and providing for certain changes to the City o£ Longwood, Floritla Comprehensive Plaa; ana wHGREAS, the City has 60 days from the execution of the Stipul atetl Settlement Agreement to adopt applicable changes to the Comprehensive Plan by ordinance pursuant to the regulaT,ions set for the in Chapter 163.31 Florida Statut and WHERE , the City Commission agrees to make the necessary changes to the City of Longwood, Flo r.ida Comprehensive Plan as described in the Stipulated Settlement Agreement and as indicated and attached hereto as Exhibit "A and wHEAEAS, all notice antl public hearing requirements o£ Sections 163.3184(15) and (16), Florida Statutes, have been complied with by the city in the adoption of this ordinance; N W, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Commission of the City o£ Longwood, Florida, that the City Commission determines that the following ordinance is hereby atlopted as follows: SECTION 1: That the provisions of the Stipulated Settlement Agreement are satisf ietl by the changes to the City of Longwood, Florida Comprehensive Plan as shown in Exhibit "A."
