WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of ~.
Longwood, Flo[ida, finds that the City, its employees or
authorized agents should not be held ces ponsible oc liable
for the costs incurred by any private party o[ person mak inq
application unde[taking developments, or other actions which
will p[imarily benefit such private parties or persons; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of
Longwood, Flo[ida, finds that such private costs snould be
borne by the parties or persons unde[taking such
application, or developments as a normal result and
co ns ega en ce associated with their actions, artd

WHEREAS, the cat[z ens of Longwood, Plo[ida, City _
employees or the City's authorized agents should not be
responsible or liable for such private costs to the
detriment of such individuals or the [esidents of Longwood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OP LONGWOOD, FLORI-A, AS POLLOWS:

any application, development plan, plat Or permit as
provided for, authorized or cequir ed under the provisions of

compensation, project design, engineering, document

SECTION 2: Conflicts. All o[din ances or parts
thereof in conflict herewith be and the same ate repealed.
SECTION 3: Eeverabili ty. Should any section,
pacagr aph, clause, sentence, item, ph[as e, word or provision
of this ordinance be declared rnv al id by a court of
competent jurisdiction, such decision will not affect the
validity of this ordinance as a whole or any part thereof,
not so declared to be invalid.
SECTION 9: Effective date. This ordinance shall
be effective immediately upon its £in al passage and adoption
by the City Commission of the City of Longwood, F1 o[ida.
