CONFLICTS AND £FFECTIVEDATE WHEREAS, The City Commission of the City of Longwood, Florida, considers it necessary and desirable to amend the Code of Ordinances to prohibit the throwing of unsolicited materials in residential areas or driveways. NOW, THEREFORE, OF, IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE Nlrtill 1: Chapter 9 "GARBAGE AND REFUSE" of the Code of OIdinanc•1 rs hereby amended to add the following additional sections. SECTION 9-22 - PROHIBITIONS (1) It shall be unlawful for any person to cast, throw or other- wise place any paper, unsolicited merchandfse or discarded material on any private Iesidential lawn or driveway without the express consent of the owner, or of an adult occupant thereof, or of a Person authorized by (2) It to unlawful for any person to cast, place or scatter any paper, unsolicited merchandise, or discarded material on y vehicle on I, public property or on any parking lot open to the use of the public, 1 it any manner other than by the delivery thereof to a person who then anc_ there accepts the same or has given his express consent to the receipt thereof.
