N t: That Section 21-16 of the Code of Ordinances rs hereby revrsed to read as follows: "Sec. 21-16. Levy. There is hereby imposed and levied by the city a tax upon each and every purchase of electeicity, metered or bottled g s (natural, Siquef:ed or manufactured), water sexv'rce, telephone servvice and telegraph sexvrce with.i.n the city in the amount of ten 110) percent of each payee nt received by the seller of such utility servvice o.r commodity; which tax sha 1.1.
