WHEREAS, the Cicy Commrssvon of the City of Longwood, Florida,
rs now working on the adoption of ordinance No. '156 which would
affect the speed limits throughout the City o£ Longwood; and,
WHEREAS, during the pendency of the adoption of such ordinance

maxrmum speed limit on all streets, roads, and public thoroughfares
within Che city shall be chvrty 1307 miles per hour unless
otherwise spe ci£i rally posted to comply with State Saws pertaining
SECTION 1: That Section 22.2. Speed Lvmvta. of the Code
of Ordinances of Che City of Longwood, Florida, vs hereby amended
to read as follows:

SECTION 2: Tnis Ordinance shall become effective immedv ately
upon it p s g and adoption by the City Commvssron of the City
of Longwood. Florida, and shall cone roue to be in effect for a
period of nvnety days from adoption, or such cane as a conflicting
ordinance is adopted after a public hearing, whichever comes
first.
SECTION 3: Conflicts. All ordinances or Parts thereof in
conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby r p led.
