NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINF,D BY THE CITY COMMISSION

SECTION l: That Section 201.1 of Ordinance No. 495, the
- Compcenensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Longwood,

Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Longwood,

SECTION ]: Section 403.2D.4 of Ordinance N0. 495, the
Comprenensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Longwood,
Florida rs hereby amended to st[ike the last sentence and add
the following par agr apn as follows:
Requests for validation of site plans, subdivision
construction plans oc subdivision plats will be considered by
the Local Planning Agency and City Commission. Sucn
validation request shall be made rn writ ing to the Local
el arming Agency a mrn rmum of 60 days pr iox to the expiration
date of Final site plan, subdivision construct ron plan or

SECTION 6: Drdinance No. 495 the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Longwood, Florida is hereby amended
to create a new section 403.2.E "Administrative Appeals
Process" to read as follows:
An applicant may appeal a requi[ement, decision, or
r determination made by the City Planner, city Engineer oc other
administrative official charged with enfo[cement of the Zoning
O [dinance by following the appeals p[ocess as otherwise
p [ovided for in Section 401.3.E of this Ordinance.

City of Longwood, Florida is hereby amended to read "All
persons contemplating the securing of development approval or
land subdivision approval shall consult with the city's
Development Review Board prior to development application

probable development impacts of the p[opos ed development to

SECTION 30: Sectron ]02.2 OE Ordinance No. 495 the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Longwood,
Florida is hereby amended to strike the words "Pave (5) copies
r of all requited plans", and to replace them as follows:
"Eleven (11( copies of all required plans, and related items".

SECTION 11: Section ]02.3 Subsection 2 of Ordinance No.
495, the Compcehensive Zoning 0[d inance of the City of
Longwood, Florida is hereby amended to strike the phrases
eight (8) copies of the preliminary plat oc plan" and "Thirty
(30) Oays" and to replace them as £ol lovs: "Eleven (11)
copies of the preliminary plat and/oc plan and related items ,
and "Forty-five (45) calendar days".
SECTION 12: Section ]02.3 of Ordinance No. 495, [he
Compcehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Longwood,
Florida is hereby amended to ere ate a new subsection 2n to
read as follows:
2A. Upon submission of a pr el lm in ary plat and/or plan 1
and after preliminary acceptance of the proposed plat and/or
plans by the City Planner, the applicant and his development
engineer shall meet with the City's Design Review Boa cd [o
discuss the proposed plat and/or plans prior to Land Planning
Agency consideration of such plats and/or plans. Applicable
comments, recommendations and approval requirements made by
City Staff, consultants and the Des iqn Review Board shall be
used by the applicant and the Land Planning Agency dux inq the
development revicew and approval process.
SECTION 13: Section ]02.3 of Ordinance No. 995, the

SECTION 19: Ordinance No. ]51 being the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Longwood, Florida is hex eby
amended to create a new subsection 5 under Section ]02.5.

SECTION 20: Section )02.6A of Ordinance N0. 995, the
Comprehensive Zoning 0[d finance of the City of Longwood,
Florida is amended to hereby revise the first parag eaph, prior
to Subsection 1, to state as follows:
