WHEREAS, based upon the tes trmony of certain residents,
the City passed an emergency ordinance, to-wit: Ordinance No.
690, temporarily closing a portion o£ South Grant Street, and,
WHEREAS, rt has been determined that it may not be in the
best interests of all. of the crtrze ns of Longwood that Ordinance
No. 690 be repealed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORCAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE 1
CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 690 be and the same rs hereby
repealed.
F.CTZON 2 That the City Admrnis tra for is hereby directed
to remove all of the safety barriers and/or devices and other
means vn order to re-open the twenty (20) feet o£ South Grant Street
that abuts Frrst Street West, to the pub l.ic.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
ION 4 This ordinance shall become effective immediately
up n its passage and adoption.
