has determined that Section 12.6 regu.i.res revvsv , and that it vs
vn the best interests of the City of Longwood to do so,
N HEAEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORI , S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That sectron 12.6 is hereby revvs ed and amended
as follows: That such liens shall bear interest at Che highest ~
rate per annum allowed by law, unless paid within thirty (30)
days after publication of such resolution."
Add subsection (12) to read as follows: "That such liens
shall include the cost of publica ti.on, and all legal fees, and
costs as are necessary to levy and collect the special assessment
liens under this chapter."
SECTION 2 Conflicts. All ordinances or parts thereof .in
conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
ECTION 3 Separability. Should any sectvon, paragraph,
clause, sentence, vtem, phrase, word, o p vrs ron of this ~
ordinance be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction,
such decision shall not affect the validity of this ordvnance as a
whole or any part hereof, not so declared to be invalid.
SECTION 4: Ef£ec tvve date. Thrs ordinance shall be effec true
vrtmediately upon its final passage and adoption by the city com-
mrssvon of the City of Longwood, Florida.
