SECLION 1: 'that Section 22-3 of ehe Code of Ordinances is hereby
amended as follows:
"22-3. Bicycles may be ridden on sidewalks within the City of
L~wod, subject co the following conditions:
(a) A person propelling a bicycle by hurtat power upon
~ and along a sidewalk, or across a roadwy Won sid along a crosswalk, has all ~
the righes and dueies appllrable to a pedestrian order the save cixcim~stances.
(b) A person propelling a bicycle upon and along a sidewalk,
or across a xoaAuay open and along a crosswalk, shall yield the right-of-way eo
any pedesaian and shall give an audible sigal before overtaking and passing
such pedestrian.
(c) No person shall opexaxe any ~roeos vehicle or iroped upon
a sidewalk within the City of Longwood."

SECTION 3:

sage and adoption.
