Seceion 1: Tnat seccron 2-16 of the mac of Ordinances, City
of tangwood, is hereby amended as follws:
Delete paragraph 2-16 (a1 which reads as follws: "(a) Tne
cmpmeation for the rzayor of the ciey is hereby sec at the svn of rvo hundred
($200.00) per nrmch."
Renwi:er paragraph 2-16 (b) to 2-16 (a) which sFU11 read as follws:
(a) The cm;pmsation for ehe city commission, carmm<ing Sanuary 11, 1982, be,
and ehe same is hereby see ae sw: of two hundred fifty dollars (5250.00) p
nemth. Fach nember of ehe ciey cmmissim shall recevve tyro hundred fifty

Lmgwod, Florida, is hereby amended eo read as follws:
(a) 'Ihe police deparrmmr shall be headed by the police thief who
shall have the follwing duties:
(1) To render operational guidance and direceional control eo ehe
police deparm;sne, and to perform ocher f coons as dirge eed by ehe Ciry
Admanistracor:
(2) To serve at the pleasure of antl recevve direction fran the city;
(3) To serve as tecFmical advisor m all :ratters <mcemed with
ensuring the public safety, healeh a:d welfare of ehe residents of the city:
(4) To serve as a direct line adminiseraeor of the police, <vvil
defense m:U traffic engineering deparummts;
(5) To perform all ocher duties and fun<cims as directed by the
Ciey Adminiserator;
(6) To report eo and be responsible to the City Adrdniserator;
(]) To assrst ehe City Administrator in orgar:izing and masntaining a
police force.

Longwod, is hereby amended as Lollors:
Delete paragraph 2-54 (c) wfiich reads as Eolloas: "(c) 'the
director of public wrks shall atca:d all commission meetings for the purpose
of inEoxming ehe camussvon as eo ehe operation of ehe deparmme of public
works."
Aenwber paragraph 2-54 (d) to 2-54(c) Mich shall read as Fo11ws:
"(c) The director of public works shall have the follwring pavers:
(L) To assigi any a~loyee order ehe deparrnvnt or public wrks to
any division, departme:t or branch of the city ehereoE requiring services of the 1
enWloyee so assigned;
(2) To prescribe such rvles and regulations as he shall dean
necessary or expedient far the conduct of administraeion of ehe departmme of
public wrks, subje<e to the approval of the Ciry Adminlseraeor;
(3) To see aside ay action taken by any division head :order the
deparrnxrs:t of public wrks and may supersede actions of such departrmt heads
