NHEREAS, the Li ty of Longwood, Florida is concerned about the
continuing water shortage and the necessity to enact proper conservation
NOIJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C[TY LONMISSI GN OF THE CITY
OF LONGI100D, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOVIS:
SECTION 1: Plumbing fixtures in alt new construction, as well
as replacement fixtures in exi sti n9 cans t ruc ti on, which requf re the
issuance of building pe nni ts, shall not exceed the criteria (based on
water pressures at the fixture of forty (40) to fifty (50) pounds per
square inch (psi)):

SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of [his
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall
not be held to invalidate or r the validity, force or effect of any

SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect inmedi ately upon
its final passage and adoption.
