BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD,
£LORIDA:
SECTION 1: That "Exhibit A Of Ordinance No. 143, being
the Comprehensive GOP , Ordinance Of the City of Long ood,
Florida, be and the same, is hereby amended by the addition
of a new district cl assif ica[ion, to be known as NHMF-1,
NURSING HOME MEDICAL PROFESSION DISTRICT, as follows:
NHMF-1 - NURSING HOME DIDICAL PROFESSION
a. -d- - In NHMP-1, NURSING HOME
MEDICAL PROFESSION BUSINESS DISTRICT, the following uses are
mimed:
I.
Nurs ng HIPA facilities, as same are
defined in chapter 464, Florida Etatutes, 1971, and licensed
pursuant to the provisions Of Chapter 400, FI—id. Statute$,
1117. Also including home or special service.,, 1n related
health care facility home, as same are defined by Florida
Statute 9400.021 (6) and (1), -tit, Statutes, 1977.
2. Offices maintained by physicians (medical
doctors and doctors of osteopathy).
3. Offices maintained by chiropractic
4. Offices maintained by doctors Of dentistry.
5. Offices maintained by optometrists.
6. Offices maintained by psych —
gists." Ancillary services related t0 the fore-
going, including but not limited to clinical laboeatories,
optic.i.ans, apothecaries, pharmacies, radiological clinics,
and retail medical supply stores.

after a review of an application and public hearing thereon,
the Board of Adjustment finds as a fact that the proposed use
rs consistent with the general zon q plan, and with the public
interest, and with the foregoing stated permitted uses, and
not de tximental to the character of the neighborhood, any
medical -related use not specifically enumerated above, may be
permitted. However, such uses may be subject to or limited by
conditions established by the Board of Adjustment. Fucther,
if said use permitted by special except On shall be far selling
more than prescription and non-prescription drugs and medical
supplies, r.e. - common drugstore, said use shall not permit
the sale o_ alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine, the
sale of groceries, or the marntena nee of a drive-in restaurant
facility.
c. Aegulati No building or structure shall
exceed thirty-five (35) feet in height.
d. uildinq Site Area qulations - No building
may be built closer than twenty-five (25) feet to the front
lot line, or fifteen (15) feet to any side lot line abutting
the street, no closer than five (5) feet to the rear Ilt line.
No set -backs axe required on inside side Sot lines. Adequate
area shall be available For off-street parking r rements,
pursuant to provisions of Site Plan Review Ordinance of the
City of Longwood, Florida, and such other reasonable require-
ments as may be es tahlrshea by the Board of Adjustment, or the
City Commission.
