WHEAF.AS, a sort has been instituted by Mayor Eugene D,
Jaques against the City of Longwood, and the members of the City
Council, said svvt having been brought in the Cr rcurt Court, rn
and for Eemr no le County, hearing Civil Action No. "I4-348-D; and
Wf3F REAS, it is deemed advisable and in the best
vote res is of the City Chat this sort be defended by an attorney,
other than the City Attorney of Longwood.
That an attorney at law be appointed as
Council will cooperate with the Special City Attorney and will
assist him as he requires, in the preparation and litigation of
SECTION 2: That the title "Special ^_ity Attorney" be
retained by said attorney to perform such other legal se rvvices as
may from time to tome be assigned to said attorney by the City
Council.
SECTION 3: That the Special City Attorney be compensa-
ted for his services at the same rate as the present City
Attorney is compensated for samilar legal services performed by

E ECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall become effective
