wHHREAS, the City Council of the City of i.ongwood,
Florida, has determined that the name of that part o£ Longwood-
Markham Road lying and being within the territorial limits of
the City of Longwood, Florida, shall be changed; and
WFIEREAS. E. E. Williamson, Chairman o£ the City Covncil
of the City of Longwood, Florida, has served as a City Councilman
of the City o£ Longwood for a period O£ seventeen (1]) years
srnce 1953; and
WI~REAS, he has been a dedicated public of fr ci al,
having served with honor and distinction; and
WHEREAS, vt rs deemed appropriate to change the name
Of the said Longwood-Markham Road to E. E. Williamson Road in
re cogni [ion of Councilman E. E. Williamson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO[INCIL OF
THE C1TY OF LONGWOOD, FI/JRI DA, AS FOLSgWS:
SECTION 1: That the name of that part of Longwood-
Markham Road lying and being within the corporate lrmrts of the
City of Longwood, Florida, vs hereby changed to t. E. Williamson
Aoad.
SECTION 2: The provisions of this Ordinance are de-
clared to be separable and if any sectvon, sentence, clause or
phrase of this Ordinance shall for any reason be held to be
vnvalid or uncons tvtutronal, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remarni ng sectrons, sentences, clauses and
phx as es of thus Ordinance but they shall remavn vn effect, it
being the legislative intent that this Ordinance shall stand
notwithstanding the invalidity of any part.
