WHEREA E, after public hearing pursuant eo public notice thereof, ehe City Council of the City of Longwood, Florida, has determined that Ordinance No. 143, being the com- prehensive zoning ordinance o£ the City of Longwood, Florida, as amended by Ordinance No. 241 as it rela Ces Co D15CYiCC R-2 Residential should be amended by eliminating Two Family Dwellings from said District, and eM1at Ordinance No. 143, being the com- prehensive zoning ordinance of the City of Longwood, Florida, as mended by Ordinance No. 208 as rt relates to Dist rice R-3 Residential should be amended by eliminating Two Family DweLli ngs £rom said District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COllNC IL OF THE CITY OF IANGW00D, FLORIDA, AE FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That all 0£ the paragraphs of Exhibit "A" o£ Ordinance No. 143, being the comprehensive zoning ordinance o£ the City of Longwood, Florida, as amended by Ordinance No. 241 pertaining eo the District R-2 Residential, be and the same s hereby amended to read as follows: DISTRICT R-2 REEIDENTL4L - Uses permitted in this district are Eor single fami Ly dwellings. Dwellings may be of single story constructro , two-story construction or split level construction; howev wo-story and split Level construction shall have a menrmum floor area of 850 square feet for the first Floor and the toxal area o£ any two- story or split level dweiLing shall not be Less than 1,300 square feet. 1me eotaL heighx of any dwelling shall not exceed twenty-eight (28) feet. Dwellings may be of single story construction, two-story construction or split level cons truceion; howev wo-story and split level con st ruc tron shall have a minimum floor area of 850 square feet for ehe first floor and the total area of any two-story or spLie level dwelling shall not be less than 1,300 square feet. The total height of any dwelling shall ~~ not exceed twenty-eight (28) feet.
