Ordinance 312oROlNANCE No. 3i~ WFffiREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Longwood, Florida, a Petition conta.vninq the names of the property owners vn the area of Seminole County, FLOrida, desexibed as follows: Lots s and 8 Entzminger Faxms Addition N 1 r plat t eof a orded i Plat Book 55 Page e, Public x ordscof Seminole County, Florida, less righteof-way for U. 5. kighway 17-92; requesting annexatvon to the corporate area of the City of Longxvod, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and WHEREAS, said Petition was duly certified to the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to the Charter of the City o£ Longwood, Florida, Chapter 69-1268, Laws of Florida, 1969, and the certification o£ the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, as to the sufficiency of such Petvtvon pursuant to the terms of said Charter received; and WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Longwood, Florida, has deemed it vn the best vnterest oL the City of Eongwooa, Floriaa, to accept saia Petitioa aaa to annex saia area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AE FOLLOWS: CTION 1: That the following described property, to-wit: Lots 5 and 8 Entzminger P Addition No. 1 s per plat thereof a orded i Plat Book 5, Page 8, Public R ordscof Seminole Co nty, Florida, less righteo£-way for U. 5. Highway 1]-92; be and the same rs hereby annexed to and made a pazt o£ the City of Longwood, Florida, pursuant to the terms of the Charter of tfie city of Longwood, Florida, Chapter 69-1268, Laws of Florida, 1969. SECTION 2: That part o£ the above described annexed property lying East of the west boundary of the existing American Telephone and Telegraph Cable Easement shall have the zoning classification o£ C-2 Commexc ial; and all that part of the above described annexed property Lying West of the West boundary of the exrsting American Telephone and Telegraph Cable Easement shall have the zoning classification of R-2 Residential, as described rn the zoning ordinances o£ the City of Longwood, Florida. ECT ION 3: That the corporate limits of the City of Longwood, elorida, be and it is herewith and hereby redefined to amend, alter and supplement the official City Map of the City of Longwood, Florida, to include the annexation conta.vned in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 5: That upon this Ordinance becoming effectiv the resident and property owners rn the above described annexed area shall be entitled to all of the rights, privileges and immunities as are from tssne to tame determined by the governing authority of the city of Longwood, Florida, and the provisions of said Charter of the City of Longwood, Florida, Chapter 69-1268, Laws of elorida, 1969. SECTION 6: I£ any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, urtl awfssl or unconstitsstional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force ox e££ect of any other section or part o£ this Ordinance.
