WHEREAS, said Petition was duly certified to
the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, p 11—it
to the Ch.— of the City of Longwood, Florida, Chapter
69-12", caws of Florida, 1969, and the certification of
the Tax Assessor of NUTinole County, Florida, as to the
sufficiency of such Petrtro p suant to the terms of said
Charter received; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Longwood,
Florida, has deemed it rn the best interest of the City
Of Longwood, Florida, to accept said Petition and t0 annex
said area,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 2: That the property heretofore described
in Sectvon 1 of this Ordinance .-11 have the zoning classifi-
cation of C-Commercial District as that classification
is described in the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Longwood,
Florida.
SECTION 3: That the corporate limits of the
City of Longwood, Florida, be and it is herewith and hereby
redefined so as to include said land herein described and
SECTION 4: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to amend, alter, and s pp ment the Official City M p of
the City of L g oa, Florida, to include the annexa tron
contained in Sectvon 1 hereof.
SLCTION 5 That upon this Ordinance becoming
effective, the resident and property owners in the above
described annexed area shall be entitled to all of the
rights and privileges and immunities as axe from time to
time determined by the governing authority of the City
of Longwood, Florida, and the provisions of said Charter
of the City of Longwood, Florid., Chapter 69-12H, Laws
of Florida, 1969.
SECTION 6: If any section or portion o£ a section
of this Ordinance pi— to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstr-
tation , it shall not be held to invalidate or impair
the validity, force, or effect of any other se ctron or
part of this Ordinance.
SECTION ): All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
to conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION e This Ordinance shall take effect
ramediately upon i.ts £.ina1 passage and adoption.
