AN ORDINANCE OP THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 143 OF SAID CITY, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CSTY OF LONGW00D, FLORIDA,
SAID AMENDMENT CHANGING TnE ZONING OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY FROM C COMMF.RCIA.i. DISTRICT TO M-1
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT ZONING CLASSIFICATION;
PROVIDING CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, ie is deemed necessary by ehe City of
Longwood, Florida, that ehe change of zoning classification
hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City,
and the time is of the essence for said zoning change, and ,~,
the City Council does hereby declare xhat an emergency exists
rn the rezoning of the he reina£t er described property.
BE IT ORDAINED ftY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LONGW00D, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: 'Lhae Ordinance No. 143 of the Ciey of
Longwood, Florida, passed and adopted the 4xh day of December,
1958, and as amended, said Ordinance being the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance of the City o£ Longwood, Florida, re gu lae ing
and resxricting the use of buildings, true tuxes and land £or
trade, industry, widen r other purposes, be and ehe
same Ls hereby amended as follows:
Lots 1]1, 172, 1]3, 1]4 and 175, Town of
Longwood, and that portion of Jessup Avenue
intersection with S. R. 42] Easx t
Seaboard Coast Line Railroad right-of-way
be and ehe same is hereby changed and transfezred From zoning
classification C Commercial District to M-L industrial District.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become effective
