AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONCW00D, FLORIDA,
FIXING THE HOURS FOR SALE OF INTOXICATING
BEVERAGES; REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 238 AND
ALL OTHER ORDI NANCEE OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING PENALTIES, AND EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION L: Ie shall be unlawful for any intoxicating
beverages, including liquor, wine, and beer, to be sold, con-
sumed or _erved or pe rmrtted eo be served or consumed, o ,
having been sold Or served, be allowed to revtain open in
readiness for consvmpti ithin the munrc ipal limits of the
City of Longwood, Florida, between the hours of two o'clock
a.m, each Sunday and eight o'clock a. m. on the following Monday,
and between the hours o{ two o clock a.m. and eight o'clock a.
on all ocher days. A11 vendors o£ intoxrc at ing beverages,
me Judi ng liquor, wine and beer, shall keep their places o£
business closed during the aforesaid hours.
SECTION 2: Aay person, firm, or corporation violating
this Ordinance shall be puniehed by a Ei ne o£ noe exceeding
$200 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding srxty (60) days
or by both such fine and imprisonment at ehe discretion of ehe
Judge of the Municipal Court.
SECTION 3: Ordinance No. 238 is hereby repea l.ed and
all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective
iauvediate ly upon its passage and ad opeion.
