Ordinance 226ORDINANCE N0. 226 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING ITS INTENT LON TO ANNEX CERTAIN LANDS LYING CONTIGDOUE TO THE PRESENT IIOUNDARIF.S OF SAID CITY AND WITHIN SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA. BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of ehe City of Longwood, Florida, as follows: SECTION 1: That ehis Ordinance is enacted pursuant eo Chapter 171.04, Florida Sta tuxes, 1967. SECTION 2: That the City of Longwood, Florida, hereby declares res intention xo annex to the Ciey of Longwood, Florida, at ehe expiration of thirty (30) days from the approval and adoption of this Ordinance, the following described parcel of = land lying contiguous to the present boundaries o£ the City o£ Longwood, Florida, and being in Seminole County, Florida, to-wit: (a) All of State Road 434 Erom i s intersec- with the existing Wes[ corporate boundary line of the City of Longwood, Florida, thence run West eo its inter- ction with Seaboard Coastline Rail- road right-o£-way. The aforesaid description xo include entire right-of-way of the aEOxes aid described roads. SECTION 3: That ehis Ordinance shall be published nce a week for four (4) consecutive weeks in The Sanford Herald, newspaper published in Seminole County, Florida. ~ SECTION 4: Tbat the above and foregoing Gract of land in the aggregate conga ins less than ten (10) registered e lectors. x SECTION e: That ehis Ordinance shall rake effect e®edia to ly upon i s final passage and adoption.
