A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT;
REPEALING RESOLUTION 09-1212 AND INCORPORATING FEES
FOR TREE REMOVAL WITHIN TI11S RESOLUTION; PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Longwood has determined that amendments to
the City Fee Schedule are desirable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVER by the City Commission of the City of Longwood,
Florida, as follows:
Section I: That the following schedule of fees be established for Community Development
Services.
Application fee schedule:
(a) The fees to be charged for applications shall be as follows:
(1) Right-of-way utilization: All right-of-way utilization work requiring a city permit shall be
paid to the city in accordance with the schedule stated below:
a. Inspection of utilization of right-of-way:
1. Longitudinal installations:
Basic fee

- Cut less than 1 foot wide, (per 1CI0 feet *)

Section II: That Resolution 09-1212 be repealed and the following fees for tree removal be
established be included as part of the Fee Schedule described in this resolution;
Nonresidential
3-inch to less than 8-inch DBH ... $50.00 per inch DBH
8-inch to less than 15-inch DBH ... $75.00 per inch DBH
15-inch to less than 24-inch DBH ... $100.00 per inch DBH
25-inch and greater DBH ... $115.00 per inch DBH
Dead trees
Removal with no replacement ... $350
Removal with no replacement if site conditions prevent replacement ... $175
If replaced on site by property owner per LDC 3.5.5 ... No charge
2. Residential (not owner occupied per LDC 3.5.5)... $20.00
Subdivision (per lot) ... $20.00
Section III: Conflicts. Any resolutions or policies in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section IV: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
