AMIi;NDING ORDINANCE NO.06-1806; AMENDING CITY CODE

ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE FEES (FIRE SERVICE; ANl)
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN :EFFE(:TIVI~,
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Cornrnissioy.i of the City of Longwood, Florida,
deemed it to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City that the Fire Department
operate an emergency medical patient transport system; and '
WHEREAS, the City Corrimissio~.i of the City of Longwood, Florida, has
the authority to establish fees for service; and.
WHEREAS, the City Corrumission, upon available uxformation and data,
deem it appropriate to revise the transport rate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TII>?; CI7CY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGW~IOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION L That the schedule of fees relating to the City's operation of
the emergency medical patient transport system shall be moeliiied by the City
Commission through a Resolution, as deemed ne<;essary.
SECTION II. In the event it is determined by the City Commission that a
change to the Fee Schedule is warranted, th~~ change will be accomplished by a
Resolution adopted by the Longwood City Cornrrussion.
SECTION III. CONFLICTS. All ordinances or parts thereo C in conflict
herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION N. SEVERAE3ILITY. Should any section, paragraph, clause,
sentence, item, word, or provision of this ordinan~~e be declared invalid by a court of
competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of this ordinance as a
whole or any part hereof, not so declared to be invalid.
SECTION V. EFFECTIVE DATE. 'This ordinance becomes effecaive
upon adoption.
