The Codes Enforcement Board of the City of Longwood, Florida
met at 7:30 p. m. in a Special 1-4eeting,
Present: Virgil Pavone
Arthur Carullo
Richard Wallsh
Raymond Downen

Donald Terry. City Clerk /Secretary
Absent: William Mitchell
B. H. Farrell - First Alternate
1. Mr. Wallsh called the meeting to order to hear Case No. to .
2. The City Clerk called the roll. All members were present
except Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Farrell. The clerk said that Mr. Mitchell
had called to say he was unable to attend and that a message was
left with rir. Farrell' s wife. Mr. Wallsh stated that Mr. Mitchell
and Mr. Farrell would be credited with a excused absence.
3. Minutes of 5-13-82. minutes to be amended to read, The Clerk
said he had been unable to reach Mr. Downen ... and change the
name of Palumbo to read Pavone . Motion by Mr, Pavone , seconded
by 1r , Carullo that minutes of 5-13-82 be approved as amended.
Motion carried by voice vote.
4. Presentation of Filed Af fidavits of violations . The City Clerk
presented Case No. to in the case of Leslie and Sharon Bennett,
Route 4, Box 212, oak Hammock Lane, Fort Pierce, FL and Mr. and
Mrs. Dan Barker, 1187 Second Place, Longwood , FL for violation of
Ordinance No. 495, Sec. 618.4 - Comprehensive Zoning ordinance.
The Board reviewed the documents submitted,
Mr. Wallsh asked if papers were notarized, the clerk stated they
were. Mr. Carullo questioned whether the officer had discussed
the violation with residents of 1187 Second Place and officer Leonard
stated that he had talked with the people but didn't know if they
owned the house,
Mr. Wallsh called for a vote on the 'issue of probable cause. The
board found probable cause exists by a unanimous vote and set a
hearing to be held on June 22, 19 8 2 .
