The Codes Enforcement Board of the City of Longwood, Florida met at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Virgil Pavone
Raymond Downen
Linda Zike
Fred Ritter
Charles Kennedy
Marvin Rooks, City Attorney
Mary Triplett, Secretary
Absent: Arthur Carullo
William Mitchell
1. Meeting called to order by Chairman Pavone followed by Pledge of Allegiance to
United States flag.

2. The secretary called the roll, all members. were present except William Mitchell
and Arthur Carullo. William Mitchell had submitted his resignation due to his election
as Commissioner for City of Longwood.
3. Approval of Minutes. The secretary read the minutes of November 23, 1982. Motion
5y Mr. Ritter, seconded by Mr. Kennedy that minutes of November 23, 1982 be approved as
dread. Nbtion carried by a unanimous roll call vote.
4. Public Hearing. Case No. 15, Country Club Kennel /Dobmeier, Ken (owner) 450 E. E.
Williamson Road, Longwood, Florida, violation of City of Longwood Ordinance No. 206/207,
Ch..11 & 12. Officer Grose asked secretary to read Statement of Request stating the
progress of Mr. Dobmeier and requesting Case No. 15 be continued for an additional period
of thirty (30) days. Mr. Rooks recommended that Mir. Dobmeier have time to come into
compliance and that the matter, be continued. He stated that substantial progress has
been made. Mr. Ritter stated that Mr. Dobrreier should be allowed a minimum of thirty
(30) days. IIr. Rooks asked Mr. Dobmeier what his intentions were to reduce the noise?
Mr. Dobmeier stated that material had been ordered and.a contractor had been contacted
to insulate the kennel on January 10, 1983. Also, Mr. Dobmeier was locking the dogs in
at six o'clock. Mrs. Zike asked if residents of Tiberon Cove were satisfied? Mr. Lewis
stated that there was a noticeable improvement. Motion by Mrs. Zike, seconded by Mr.
Ritter that Case No. 15 be continued until January 25, 1983. Motion passed by four to
one vote with Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Ritter, Mrs. Zike, Mr. Pavone voting aye and Mr. Downen
abstaining due to conflict of interest.
5. Unfinished Business. None.
6. Presentation of filed affiavits of violations. None to submit.
7. New Business. None.
8. Adjournment. Motion by Mrs. Zike, seconded by Mr. Downen that meeting be adjourned.
