Pa Tone Arthur Carullo 1. The meeting was called to order by Mr Myers followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States Flag. The secretary called }he roll and all members were present except Mr Pavone and Mr. Carul�o. Mr. Pavone notified the secretary that he would be unable to attend the meeting due to illness. 2. Approval of Minutes - 9/27/83. The secretary read the minutes of September 27, 1983. Motion by Mr. Kennedy, seconded by Mr. Ritter that minutes be approved as ,read. Motion carried by a unanimous voice vote. 3. Public Hearings. None scheduled. 4. Unfinished Business. None scheduled. 5. Presentation of Filed Affidavits of Violation. Case No . . Llop i z , 40 Sheoah Blvd. Winter Springs, FL and John S. Schneeman, lob Knowlcrest, Longwood, FL (owner of the property). Violation of Chapter 22, Sections 22 -26 and ?2 -28. officer Rossi presented the case, he stated that a 1976 chevrolet Station Wagon has been observed at the Schneeman property for at leas± two months. The vehicle appeared to be abandoned and unregistered, a written warning was attached to the vehicle on August 23, 1983. Mr. cook stated that both parties are in violation due to the fact that Mr. Schneeman owned the property. Motion by Mr. Kennedy, seconded by Mr. Taddeo to find probable cause and to notify the owner and the violator of the public hearing. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 24 -Doris Lanford, 252 orange Avenue, Longwood, FL and W. H. Roof Construction Company, Inc., 245 E. orange Avenue, Longwood, FL (property owner), Violation of Appendix A, Section 618.4,A, 618 .4B . low ANEW Codes enforcement Boa3 Aeeting -- October 25, 19 8 Officer Rossi presented the case, he stated the violation was �.he parking of a school bus illegally within a residential district. officer Rossi stated that he cites the law as written and presents the facts to the board. Motion by Mr. Fleck, seconded by Mr. Taddeo to find probable cause. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 25 -Phil D. Hill, 401 Parson Brown Way, Longwood, FL. Violation of Appendix A, Section 618.6B3. officer Rossi presented the case, he stated the violation was a camper that had to be screened from the view of abutting neighbors. Motion by Mr. Taddeo, seconded by Mr. Kennedy to find probable cause. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 26- George W. Jones and Rev. Amos C. Jones (Conservator), 1400 West 8th Street, Sanford, FL. Violation of Chapter 12, Section 12 -4 (2) . officer Rossi presented the case, the violation is a extremely delapidated building located close to 912 Parson Brown Way. officer Rossi stated that condition of the building is a health hazard. Motion by Mr. Kennedy, seconded by Mr. Ritter to find probable cause. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote. Motion. by Mr. Kennedy, seconded by Mr. Ritter to notify the City to take action to have this hazard corrected. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 27-Ronald A . Brown, 743 Seminole Avenue, Longwood, FL. Violation of Appendix A, Section 618.6B(l) , 618.6B(2) , Chapter 22, Sections 22-26 and 22 -28. officer Rossi presented the case, he stated that Mr. Brown has four boats, each of which registration 'is inactive , two boat trailers, both unregistered, a camper, and an unregistered motor home on his property. Motion by Mr. Kennedy, seconded by Mr. Fleck to find probable cause. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote. Motion by Mr. Taddeo, seconded by Mr. Kennedy to set a public hearing for all the cases on November 8, 1983. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote. 6. New Business. Mr. Cook stated that rules and regulations can be changed as long as it doesn't effect the Code of ordinance or the State Statutes. The Board decided not to make any changes to the rules and regulations. Motion by Mr. Kennedy, seconded by Mr. Ritter to have the Annual Organiza- tional Meeting and Election of Chairman and Co- Chairman on November 8, 1983. 7. Adjournment.
