The Codes Enforcement Board of the City of Longwood, Florida, met
at 7:30 P.M.
Present: Walter Fleck
Buford Helms
Verma Martin
Fred Pearl
Fred Ritter
Anthony Taddeo
Charles Kennedy, Vice - Chairman
Mary Triplett, Secretary
1. The meeting was called to order by Vice - Chairman Kennedy followed
by the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States Flag. All the members
of the Codes Enforcement Board were present. Vice - Chairman Kennedy
introduced Mr. Fred Pearl, a new member, to the other board members.
2. Approval of Minutes - 3/27/84. Motion by Mr. Taddeo, seconded by
Mr. Helms to approve minutes of March,27, 1984 as.submitted. Motion
carried by a unanimous roll call vote.
3. Public Hearings. None Scheduled.
4. Unfinished Business. None.
5. Presentation of Filed Affidavits of Violations. None.
6. New Business. Election of Chairman and Vice - Chairman. Motion by
Mr. Taddeo, seconded by Mr. Fleck to nominate Mr. Kennedy for Chairman.
Motion by Mrs. Martin, seconded by Mr. Helms to nominate Mr. Fleck for
Chairman. Motion by,Mr. Taddeo, seconded by Mr. Pearl to close nomina-
tions. A roll call. vote was taken, Mrs. Martin and Mr. Kennedy voted
for Mr. Fleck. Mr. Fleck, Mr. Helms, Mr. Taddeo and Mr. Ritter voted
for Mr. Kennedy. Mr. Pearl declined to vote. Mr. Kennedy was elected
Chairman by a majority vote. Motion by Mr. Helms, seconded by Mr. Taddeo
to nominate Mr. Fleck for Vice - Chairman. There were no other nominations.

7. Ajournment. Motion by Mr. Taddeo, seconded by Mrs. Martin to adjourn.
Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote. Meeting adjourned at 7:40
P.M.
