1. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairwoman
Corbin.
2. The secretary called the roll. Mr. Delaney had notified
the secretary two weeks in advance that he would be on vacation
and would not be able to attend tonight's meeting .
3. Approval of Minutes - Motion by Ms. Sikora seconded by Mr.
Showers to approve the minutes of the last meeting held on
March 22, 1988. Motion carried by a unanimous voice vote.
4. Special Report:
City Attorney, Michael Framer, presented the Code Enforcement
Board Procedural Handbook to the Board. Prior to the meeting
Mr. Delaney submitted a memorandum to the Board stating he
strongly recommended the new procedural handbook. Ms. Sikora
commended Mr. Kramer for all the work he had put into the
handbook. All the other members present expressed the same
feelings, After a brief presentation of the handbook motion
was made by Ms. Sikora, seconded by Mr. Showers to adopt the
Code Enforcement Board Procedural Handbook written by Mr.
Kramer. Motion carried by a unanimous voice vote.

Ms. Price stated that Mr. Zaman had come into compliance. She
said he expressed that he was pleased the way the City had
cooperated with him. She distributed pictures to the Board

members showing the accumulation of trash, high grass, etc.
for which he was issued a Notice of Violation and also pictures
after his place had been cleaned up.
Motion by Ms. Sikora seconded by Ms. MacDowell that they are
now in compliance, she further moved that if there is a
violation repeated at any time in the future that a fine of
$100.00 per day will be imposed for each repeat violation based
on the serious nature of the violation. Motion carried by
unanimous roll call vote.
2. CEB -1002 - John F. Hepp

Violation of City of Longwood Code of Ordinances
Sections 609.3.A.1.(c), Chapter 12, 12- 1(1)(3)(6)
Chapter 12, 12 -2, (1)(2)(3)(10)
Mr. Hepp did not appear before the Board and- Ms. Price stated
he had not come into compliance. She further stated he has not
been cooperative for the most recent violation or in the past
when he was cited; violations have been on -going since 1982.
At the present time his fence is deteriorating, the grass and
weeds in places reach the top of the fence, there is green
stagnant water in Mr. Hepp's pool and miscellaneous junk is on
the property.
Motion by Ms. Sikora, seconded by Ms. MacDowell, that based
on the evidence in this case Mr. Hepp is in violation. She
further moved that he be given until July 15, 1988 to come into
compliance and rectify all violations. If he fails to comply
by July 15, 1988, based on the serious nature of the violation,
a fine of $250.00 for each day of non - compliance and $250.00
for each day of repeat non - compliance should be imposed, due to
the condition of the pool, the repetitive nature of the
violations and Mr. Hepp's non - cooperation. Motion carried by
unanimous roll call vote.

8. old Business:
Ms. Price was asked if the Horner's, d/b /a B & G Aircondi-
tioning Service, have remained in compliance and she stated
they have.
9. New Business: None
10. Ms. Corbin stated the next meeting will be held Tuesday,
July 26, 19880
