Ms. Price submitted pictures as City Exhibit "A" and presented
the case. Mary Gamble was sited originally for replacing four
sections of her wood stockade fence and reversing the cross
members, secured only by string. The last violation issued was in
regard to securing the pool. The pool remains unsecured as long as
the fence sections are secured only by string. Ms. Price stated
that due to dealing with this issue off and on for three months,
she asked the Board to find Mary Gamble in violation and to
instruct her to erect the fence sections according to the present
Code. Ms, Price suggested giving her one week to comply or a fine
of $50.00 per day be imposed.
Ms. Mary Gamble expressed her side of the issue. Ms. Gamble
stated that Mr. Turner's house is directly behind her house. Both
Ms. Gamble and Mr. Turner have pools, therefore Ms. Gamble felt
that if she was in violation of securing her pool, Mr. Turner was
also in violation of securing his pool. However, Mr. Turner was
not sited. She further stated that the fence has always been
considered to be hers, so when the four sections needed to be
replaced, Mr. Turner left it entirely up to her to replace the
fence. Mr. Turner never offered to help physically or financially.
Ms. Gamble asked that the Board rule that each property owner put
up their own fence.
Chairman Tolos asked Mr. Turner if he would care to speak.
Mr. Turner stated that his property had been surveyed and that the
existing fence is on her property. Mr. Turner felt that with the
fence being on her property that she should replace the necessary
sections. He further expressed that the fence should be put up
with the good side facing his property, which is the way the
remaining fence is place, as well as the Code states for the fence
to be 'installed that way, After questioning, Mr. Turner confirmed
that he did not offer to help physically or financially.
The Hearing was closed and the Board discussed the case.
Mr. Valkenburg made a motion to postpone this case to next
month, seconded by Ms. Addison. Motion carried by a unanimous roll
call vote.

boat was not moved. Ms. Price asked the Board to find Mr. & Mrs.
Jenkins in violation and advise them that the boat can not be
parked in front of the house for more than 24 hours in a 7 day
period. She asked the Board to impose a fine of $50.00 per day as
long as the violation exists.
Mr. Lee Jenkins choose to speak on his behalf. He explained
that he works on the boat on a regular basic, and that he does move
the boat.

average of two times a week. The boat has always been in the front
of the property.
