ORDINANCE NO. 11-1965
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOO D, FLORIDA,
VACATING AND ABANDONING THE SOUTHERN MOST PORTION OF
WILMA STREET SOUTH OF SR 434, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS AND
SJEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Whereas, the City of Longwood has petitioned to vacate, close and discontinue, declaim
and renounce any interest in the real properties described below in EXHIBIT A, and
Whereas, said subject property is located in the City of Longwood, and
Whereas, the vacating of the subject property in its entirety to the adjoining property
owners is within the public interest and would not conflict with the goals, objectives or
policies of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREIFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY (COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: The portion of the Wilma Street Right -of �Wy lands described in
EXHIBIT A are hereby permanently vacated, closed and abandoned, subject to the City
of Longwood's reservation of a perpetual public utility easement over, under and through
said lands described in EXHIBIT A for the construction, installation, repair, replacement,
reconstruction, maintenance, control, operation, use, and modification of public and
j private franchise utilities and facilities, including but not limited to stonnwater drainage
lines, lighting facilities, sewer lines, water lines, reclaimed water lines, gas lines, electric
s lines, cable television lines, telecommunications lines, fiber optic cables and other public

� � , Section 2: If any Ordinance or part thereof is in conflict herewith, this Ordinance
shall control to the extent of any such conflict.

Section 3: If any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this Ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstances are held to be invalid, that invalidity
shall not effect other sections or applications of this Ordinance.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon
adoption.

Approximately 282.44 feet of the southern most portion of the Wilma Street right -of -way
south of SR 434 that is immediately adjacent to and along the frontage of that certain real
property with Seminole County Tax Parcel No. 06- 21- 30- 502 -0ROD -0000 and 06-21-30 -
300 -004C -0000 legally described in that certain Special Warranty Deed recorded at
Official Records Book 07488, Pages 0137 -0139, Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida.
