ORDINANCE NO. 11-1965 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOO D, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING THE SOUTHERN MOST PORTION OF WILMA STREET SOUTH OF SR 434, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS AND SJEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Whereas, the City of Longwood has petitioned to vacate, close and discontinue, declaim and renounce any interest in the real properties described below in EXHIBIT A, and Whereas, said subject property is located in the City of Longwood, and Whereas, the vacating of the subject property in its entirety to the adjoining property owners is within the public interest and would not conflict with the goals, objectives or policies of the City's Comprehensive Plan. NOW, THEREIFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY (COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section I: The portion of the Wilma Street Right -of �Wy lands described in EXHIBIT A are hereby permanently vacated, closed and abandoned, subject to the City of Longwood's reservation of a perpetual public utility easement over, under and through said lands described in EXHIBIT A for the construction, installation, repair, replacement, reconstruction, maintenance, control, operation, use, and modification of public and j private franchise utilities and facilities, including but not limited to stonnwater drainage lines, lighting facilities, sewer lines, water lines, reclaimed water lines, gas lines, electric s lines, cable television lines, telecommunications lines, fiber optic cables and other public o ri A u'. utilities and. facilities of every type. g U , o'n C) co. � � , Section 2: If any Ordinance or part thereof is in conflict herewith, this Ordinance shall control to the extent of any such conflict. Ordinance No. 11 -1965 Section 3: If any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstances are held to be invalid, that invalidity shall not effect other sections or applications of this Ordinance. Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon adoption.
