SILENT MEDITATION FOLLOWED BY THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS A. Celebrate the Season will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Downtown Historic District. There will be ice - skating, food, crafts for the children to create, a chance to visit with Santa Clause, and the lighting of the tree (6:15 p.m.). B. Movie in the Park will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Candyland Park, 599 Longdale Avenue. This month's feature is The Polar Express. C. The "Downtown Longwood Cruise -In" Car Show will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Historic District of Longwood located off of Church Avenue. 4. PROCLAMATIONS / RECOGNITIONS A. Presentation of the Key to the City Awarded to Dick Harkey. 5. BOARD APPOINTMENTS A. District #4 Nomination to the Land Planning Agency. B. Appointment of a Citizen Representative to the MetroPlan Orlando, Citizens Advisory Committee. 6. PUBLIC INPUT A. Public Participation. 7. MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS' REPORT Districts #3, #4, #5, #1 and #2. 8. ANY ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA CC 12 -02 -13/1 9. CONSENT AGENDA A. Approve Minutes of the November 18, 2013 Regular Meeting. B. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for November 2013. C. Acceptance of the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Award in the amount of $3,131 to pay advanced training registration/tuition fees. 10. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 13 -2017, which amends the Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Services Contract. (Request to continue to the December 16, 2013 meeting for publication.) 11. REGULAR BUSINESS A. Read by title only, set December 16, 2013 as the public hearing date and approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 13 -2019, amending the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Trust Fund Section 1, Definitions, amending the definition of "Actuarial Equivalent ". 12.
