AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY CORPORATE LUMTS APPROXIMATELY
14,810 SQ. FT. (.34 ACRES) +/- FOR PARCEL NUMBER 33-20-
30-504-0000-0020 PURSUANT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
CHAPTER 171, FLORIDA STATUTES; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE SUBJECT PROPERTY TO BE SUBJECT TO TAXATION
AND REGULATION BY THE CITY EXCEPT LAND
DEVELOPMENT AND BUILDING CODES UNTIL THE CITY'S
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IS AMENDED PURSUANT TO THE
REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 163.3184 AND 163.3187,
FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS,
SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owner(s) of certain lands more particularly described herein below, have
voluntarily requested that the same be annexed and incorporated into the corporate limits of
the City of Longwood, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The lands graphically shown on the map, attached hereto, and having
Tax Parcel I.D. #33-20-30-504-0000-0020 (and legally described in that certain Warranty
Deed recorded on July 18, 2014 at Official Records Book 8298, Page 1363), be and the
same are hereby annexed to and included within the corporate limits of the City of
Longwood, Florida.
Section 2. The Corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Florida, are hereby
revised to include the land described in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. The City Commission of the City of Longwood, Florida does hereby
find that the lands described in Section 1 are contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of
0 a M Longwood, Florida, that said lands meet the criteria established by Chapter 171, Florida
Q Statutes, that said lands should be annexed, and hereby approve the annexation.
S3 Section 4. Upon annexation, the lands described in Section 1 shall retain the
future land use and zoning designations established by the Seminole County Zoning

Ordinance/Code and Comprehensive Land Use Plan until otherwise changed or amended by
appropriate ordinance of the City of Longwood, Florida.
Section 5. Effective as provided by law, all real property lying within the
boundaries of the corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Florida, as hereby revised, shall
be assessed for payment of municipal ad valorem taxes.
Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this
ordinance with the Office of the Secretary of the State of Florida, the Office of the Governor
of the State of Florida, the Clerk of Court of Seminole County, Property Appraiser and the
Seminole County Tax Collector, within 7 days from the effective date of the ordinance. The
City Clerk and City Staff are hereby directed to waive the $3,102 annexation fees.
Section 7 Conflicts. This Ordinance shall control over any ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith.
Section 8 Severability. If any section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance proves to be
invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity,
force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Ordinance.
Section 9 Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective ten days after its passage
and adoption.
