A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA,
REGARDING THE QUALIFIED TARGET INDUSTRY TAX REFUND
PROGRAM; RECOMMENDING COMPUTECH CITY LLC BE
APPROVED AS A QUALIFIED TARGET INDUSTRY BUSINESS
PURSUANT TO 5.288.106, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR
LOCAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF CASH
EQUIVALENT TO THE QTI PER JOB AWARD AMOUNT; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the business under consideration is Computech City LLC;. and
WHEREAS, Computech City LLC, is currently located at 3216 West Lake Mary
Boulevard, Lake Mary, Florida, and intends to purchase real property and construct a new
facility in the city of Longwood, Florida;
WHEREAS, Computech City LLC will invest up to $2,500,000 in Longwood including
the purchase of tangible personal property and the purchase of real properly; and
WHEREAS, Computech City will create a minimum of thirty five (35) new, high-level
jobs over a three (3) year period beginning in 2016, with an annual average salary of $55,000, an
amount greater than 132% of the 2015 average annual average wage of $41,776 for Seminole
County, according to the State of Florida Incentive Average Wage Requirements effective
January 1, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Enterprise Florida, Inc. has determined that Computech City LLC, qualifies
as a Qualified Target Industry Business pursuant to Section 288.106, Florida Statutes, and is
eligible to apply for the Qualified. Target Industry Tax Refund; and
WHEREAS, the Longwood City Commission commits to provide up to $17,500 which
is a ten percent (10%) match of the QTI per job award, and together with Seminole County

meeting the ten percent (10%) match, meets the required QTI local participation of $35,000,
which is a twenty percent (20%) match of the QTI per job tax refund. and providing Computech
City LLC with important financial support pursuant to Section 288.106, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the grant of local participation is derivative of and dependent upon the
monitoring and administration of the QTI program by the State of Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Longwood, Florida, as follows:
1. The City of Longwood recommends Computech City LLC be approved as a QTI
Business pursuant to Section 288.106, Florida Statutes;
2. The necessary cash commitment of local financial support for the Qualified
Target Industry Tax Refund Program equally exists from the City of Longwood and Seminole
County for Computech City LLC totaling an amount not to exceed THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND
AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($35,000.00); that this amount will be evenly split between the City of
Longwood and Seminole County for a total payment of SEVENTEEN THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($17,500.00) by the City of Longwood; that this amount
will be made available in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Florida Department of
Economic Opportunity with the stipulation that these funds are intended to represent the "local
financial support" required by Section 288.106, Florida Statutes.
3. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage
and adoption.
