P&R06-06-17MinUISTORIC LONGWOOD FLORIDA PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD REGULAR MEETING MINUTES DATE: June 6, 2017 TIME: 7:00 P.M. LOCATION: Longwood Commission Chamber 175 West Warren Avenue Longwood, FL 32750 Present: Lori Rice, Chair Judi Coad, Member James Vogel, Member Morgan Paris, Member Dave Putz, Member Bruce Harnage, Member Chris Capizzi, Leisure Services Director Ryan Rinaldo, Recreation Coordinator Donna L. Alt -Bowes, Recording Secretary Absent: Michelle Hendrix, Vice Chair 1. CALL TO ORDER. Chair Rice Called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. PUBLIC INPUT. None. 3. STAFF REPORT. Chris Capizzi — Director, Leisure Services Good evening everyone. Thank you for coming out tonight. First item is the Downtown Longwood Cruise In Car Show taking place this Saturday, June 10 from 5 — 8 pm. We will also be doing the comedy show "Don't Shoot the Messenger" this Saturday from 6:30 — 9 pm. We are partnering with a gentlemen who is going to be working with us for the Arts and Craft Show or I should say the Longwood Fall Festival formerly known as the Arts and Crafts Festival. We are going to try it out. It is a, trial run just to see how it goes. This is the first adult only event that we have had. 21 and up. It is exciting. We will try it and if it works, great, we will do it again and if it doesn't we will try something else. Ryan actually came up with the idea with Mitch, the gentlemen who we are working with on the Fall Festival. Senior matinee is June 21 @ 1:30 pm. The movie is going to be Split. In case you have not seen that it is quite a thriller. I am hoping it won't be a little much for the seniors but I think they will enjoy it. Our Food Truck event will occur this Thursday, June 81 from 5:30 — 8:30. We have some good trucks. Some of the trucks from the first event are coming back as well as some different ones. Ryan P&R 6/6/2017/1 will tell you a little bit more about that after I give you a little update on Reiter Park. He will share with you some about the Summer Camp as well. As you all can see we have the fence up fmally. Our surveyors were actually out today throughout the weather. We are currently waiting on revisions from the City engineer to give to the contractors. We'll begin decmucking very soon. That will take about a month and a half, possibly longer. We have sectioned off the entire park. The work trailer is out there. We have Reiter Park closed signs coming up tomorrow during the day. We are looking into a historic grant to possible work with bringing the Lewis House over. Habitat for Humanity owes the City $50,000 in exchange for the land that we gave them off of Magnolia Avenue for the townhomes they built. The Historic landmarks grant starts at a $50,000 match. It is a one to one match so it is perfect because they (Habitat for Humanity) owe us $50,000 and that is $50,000 we will get. I don't think that we will have a problem getting that grant at all because with the history of the Lewis House and the way that the grant requirements are for this particular grant, they do smile upon restoring important historical buildings. It is a great opportunity and we are definitely going to go for it. Other than that, we are just waiting on them to start the de -mucking process. Ryan and I did sit down and have a good conversation about our upcoming events for the Fall today, our closest one being National Night Out. We did go over the database for last year and all of the different things we would like to do. I think that we would like to see the K-9 demonstration. Hopefully we can work it out this year. Ryan is currently working on getting a helicopter to come down. Two new pretty neat additions for the event and our light will be out there too. We also went over Halloween. The Halloween event is going to be within the historic district. Obviously we won't be having it in Reiter Park but it is going to be great. We are going to have a similar layout to Celebrate the Season for the Halloween event. We will still be able to do Trunk or Treating and all of that. The actual event date for Halloween this year is going to be on Sunday, October 29 from 3 — 5:30 pm. We won't need lights and it is going to be a very similar format. We were kicking around the idea, of maybe adding a couple of things. We are going to continue working on those events very soon. I know that Ryan will be probably be contacting you Lori in reference to National Night Out since it is getting closer and closer and then probably within another month, Judi, I know that Ryan will be getting with you in reference to Celebrate the Seasons. We did have a good talk with Brian Byer from Orlando Health today. He is the Public Relations gentleman over there. He is a pretty important guy. We are set to utilize the parking lot for the Longwood Fall Festival. We have officially renamed the Arts & Crafts Festival as the Longwood Fall Festival. This week we will be trying to get a contract from Dan Langley (City Attorney). I would imagine that is either going to be this week or next week from him. We have the terms already written out. I will be getting with Dan this week about formalizing that and getting a contract out and having the Historic Society sign it. We are also talking with Lenny Leland from the Hotel about utilizing his parking lot. We are very excited and are looking forward to it. Ryan Rinaldo - Recreation Program Coordinator While we are on the topic of the Art Festival, I will just briefly follow up on that too. Brian who is coordinating our vendors actually has been on site measuring the exact spaces. He designs a map and the vendors are actually able to select their exact space within the map. It is pretty unique software he has. We are maxing out the space we have in the district for vendors. Food Truck event this Thursday. It does happen, rain or shine. We get our check from the Food Trucks, rain or shine so we are able to cover the cost of the port-o-let and the band. Rain or shine we will be out there. We will also have Pat's Liquor serving the beer, wine and liquor at this event. They have all the insurances and proper permits and catering licenses to do that so we are adding another element. They will be checking id's and obviously serving within reason. P&R 6/6/2017/2 In reference to the Father/Daughter Dance, Dave Putz and his granddaughter Jade did an awesome commercial. We will send everyone the link to view the commercial. They did an awesome job and Seminole State is great. They had all their students out here so it is a win for them and for us. The comedy show is this Saturday as Chris (Capizzi) mentioned. It is in partnership with Pat's Liquor. He has a partnership with Orlando Improv, a well-known comedy club production company in Orlando. They were looking to expand as they are fmding that many of those who attend their shows are coming from Lake Mary, Altamonte, Longwood, Sanford, etc. so they are going to try to catch them before they go deeper into Orlando. It is 21 and up. There is going to be some adult humor and they will be serving adult beverages there. Tickets can be purchased on line and at the door. It works out to be about $11 per ticket which is a great deal. We have about 4 comedians coming out for $11. I know Orlando Improv is usually- $25. Finally, Summer Camp. This week is the first week of Summer Camp. Today was our first field trip went off today very good. Lyman High School is working out really good. 'We are still working out a little glitches. It is still an active high school so there are still sports practices going on but we are working out great. The first two (2) weeks this year we have increased by 10 kids from last years numbers. We have gone up 10 kids this week and next compared to last year's numbers. Last week was just a rush of parents calling and emailing. So Summer Camp is going well. This Thursday we are taking them to the Orlando Science Center, today was the movies and next week is, actually we are almost sold out with sixty (60) kids, because we are going to Fun Spot. All the kids seem to be really excited about that. Member Coad — I have a question. I know Chris has heard this but I don't know if Ryan has, about a hay ride. I know we do the train ride at Christmas, I would love to see if we can incorporate a hay ride as a fundraiser or a. break even deal since we are moving it uptown and it is not down at the park. Chris Capizzi — We will have to look into it. I think we might be able to put it the same route as we do the train. We will see if we can find somebody who does that. Member Coad — I think the same people that we used to get the train ride through had a hay ride at one time. That is a few years back so that might be one of our contacts. I love that is going to be on a Sunday. I think we will have a great response to it on that day of the week. Member Rice — Speaking of the Halloween Festival, Trunk or Treat, I had suggested after last year's event and hopefully if you haven't remembered you will take this into consideration in adding a pumpkin carving contest and segregating that into age groups even on up to an adult age group. We have got some, I am sure, locally some very talented pumpkin carvers. That would allow something for the older children that don't partake in the costume contest to get involved with. It can be a family event as well. but I think that in itself will attract the older children and adults. Member Coad — What is the time of day that we are going to have it on Sunday? Chris Capizzi — 3:00 — 5:30 pm. Lori I am going to have to get with Dan Langley because if it is a carving, pumpkin carving, there is always the issue of liability. Member Rice — No. They bring them carved. (Chris Capizzi — Oh. Great!) You carve it at home, bring it, and enter it in the contest. We would have to provide tables, segregate it into some age levels, have some entry tickets, have some judging and give some prizes. Something other than the teddy bear store. I would like us to continue to consider that and working that in and of course putting in the promotional information. Because it is new, we would need to get the word out on that. I did see in the water bill the enclosure this month. Thank you. I was a little surprised it was not double sided. P&R 6/6/2017/3 Chris Capizzi — That was because of costs purposes. Recently the utility billing has gone with a new company and it almost tripled in cost. Ryan Rinaldo — It was designed double sided and at the last minute I had to adjust it. Chris Capizzi — I think it was because of cost of printing or something along those lines. Actually, it may have even been the same company but they had to raise their rates astronomically. I got the bill back and it was $600 which was not feasible. Member Coad — How many do we print off to go out in the mail? Chris Capizzi — Along the lines of 2000 — 3000. Member Coad — So maybe we need to try and find someone else to do the printing for that? We take it to be put in the envelopes. Chris Capizzi — They fold it too. So, they print it, the fold it, and if we can find somebody who does it cheaper, we still will have to take it to them to have it folded so there is going to be a cost for that to. Member Coad — So what if it comes already folded? Or, they want to fold it with the bill to fit. Is that what you are saying? Chris Capizzi — Yes. That is exactly what I am saying but I know that Amber from utility billing was going to look into it and see what was going on with that. They did actually keep us at the same rate for one-sided this time I am sure that the company doesn't want to lose any business so maybe they will be willing to work with us on it. Member Rice — Regarding the staff report, are there any other questions or comments? I will say that I did notice that Reiter Park, the lines have been buried. Member Putz — Were those lines actually buried? Chris Capizzi — Yes. Member Putz — I just thought they went around the block. Chris Capizzi — No. They put them underground. Member Coad - I asked it last time but did we use any scholarships for Summer Camp this year? Ryan Rinaldo —Yes. 2 Member Rice — There is a chance that more could come as the county facilitator refers them to us. Chris Capizzi — Exactly and that did happen last year. They came in throughout the camp. It was not just beforehand. We had received about 4 or five throughout the duration last year so I am thinking we will get at least a couple more this year. As long as we can offer it, we accept them. Member Rice — Are you at capacity? Chris Capizzi — We are close for this week. Not for the whole summer at this time. Next week we are at capacity and I am not sure about the following weeks. P&R 6/6/2017/4 Member Rice — Well I have received compliments on the camp counselors, coaches. Chris Capizzi — Some of them are coaches so you are right on both accounts. We spent a lot of time interviewing the counselors this year because we had a big switch up. The only counselor who has returned from prior years is our camp director who is phenomenal. He is on top of it. He is a teacher in Seminole County. He is very well organized, works with the kids great, very diplomatic and he is somebody that Ryan doesn't have to worry about when not at camp. I am really happy with what we have so far. Member Coad — Would you give us a brief review of what the final deal was with the Historical Society had agreed upon. Chris Capizzi — Yes. It is going to be $10,000 this year, flat fee, and then, that is for, it is a five (5) year deal with the option to renew for another five (5) years. Starting next year, not this year, they will receive fifty percent (50%) of the booth fees. It is up to a $15,000 limit (maximum). So they will not receive any more than $15,000. ****the actual deal is for 7 years and not 5. This was sent out in an email after the meeting.**** Member Putz — What is this renew after five (5) years? Chris Capizzi — It is an option to renew. Member Putz — You mean renew with who? Chris Capizzi — The Historical Society. Member Putz - And if you don't renew? Chris Capizzi — We have not crossed that bridge yet Dave. I don't know. That is a good question. I am sure that if things are working out and everyone's happy we will renew but I can't answer that right now. Member Putz — The price isn't fixed after that? Member Coad — Sort of. Chris Capizzi — I highly doubt that after five (5) years, especially if this works, we are going to gauge it and see how this works. Especially if it is successful and we get the vendors that we are anticipating and then build it even further, especially with the construction at Reiter Park, who knows what the possibilities are. Member Coad — Another couple of questions. Are we going to expand the time frame that it is open? Chris Capizzi — It was 9 — 5 on Saturday and 9 — 4 on Sunday. We have not nailed the times down exactly. It is going to be at least that and we are going to open on Friday night for the carnival. Just the carnival, not the arts and crafts or the beer garden or the entertainment. That kind of stuff is not going to start until Saturday and Sunday Member Coad - So sort of three (3) days in a row? Chris Capizzi — Yes P&R 6/6/2017/5 Member Coad — Was there a resolve of allowing the Historical Society to sell their food in front of their place. Chris Capizzi — They are most likely going to be selling food. Member Coad — Like beer and wine. Like they do at the car show? Chris Capizzi — I am not sure if they are going to do beer and wine or not. If they want to do beer and wine, to be honest with you, it is what it is because we are going to be having a beer garden and it is not going to be near where they are selling theirs. Our beer garden will be located near our food court and our entertainment. It is really not going to compete, as the quality of our beverages is going to be way different than what the Historic Society is. Member Coad — OK. Another question pops into my mind. How soon can we start advertising this out to the public? Chris Capizzi — We are going to get on top of that probably within the next month. We have actually, Brian from TDI already has it out on, or not yet. We are waiting to solidify the contract Judi. Member Coad — All signed off yet? Chris Capizzi — No. Not yet. Member Coad — Excuse me. I thought it was all signed off on. I apologize. Chris Capizzi — With Memorial Day and the week before Memorial Day Dan Langley (City Attorney) was on vacation and last week I was indisposed. He is going to be getting all that information from me. It should not take long because he has already written the agreement. Member Coad — It is a verbal? Chris Capizzi — Exactly. It should not take long. As soon as we do that then we are really going to start within the advertising, That is also where iHeart Radio comes in. We have been meeting with various radio stations and we are probably going to go with iHeart. I will know that within the month too. We all know how well our events do when they are advertised on the radio. Member Coad — and one other thing that is totally off that. You provided this lovely sheet for us, which I appreciate, but there is one person missing that I think is very important, his name is Ryan Rinaldo. If you have to print it at least when you put this in the file, wherever you have got it on your computer, will you just add Ryan's name to that. Chair Rice — I imagine it came from our recording secretary. Donna Alt -Bowes — It was actually given to me by the Clerk's office. Member Coad — So if we can just pass that on to them. Donna Alt -Bowes — I have asked that Ryan be added to that so the next time it is printed, Ryan should be added. Member Coad- Thank you so much. P&R 6/6/2017/6 Chair Rice — I will just ask one question before we move on. Back to the Longwood Fall Festival. I was at the Commission meeting where we were visited by the friends of the church. The Episcopal Church. Chris Capizzi —Yes' Chair Rice - If not at this point, I am sure you are planning to visit. Chris Capizzi — We already have. I can tell you a little bit about that. We met with the church and they are happy. We are going to allow them to sell food. They are actually going to charge for parking like they have done every year. We are going to allow them to keep the proceeds for that and the church is actually going to staff attendants in this parking lot there. They have been a great partner with us on several events, allowing us to use their parking lot for the Community Building so we want to make them happy and work with them too. The new Reverend who is over there, Father Lyon, has been terrific to work with. He is very amenable. He wants to help us and we want to help him so it is a good relationship. Chair Rice — I am glad to hear that. 4. ACTIONS ITEMS. A. Approve Minutes From May 2, 2017 Member Vogel moved to approve the minutes from May 2, 2017. Seconded by member Harnage. Motion carried by a unanimous voice vote with Member Hendrix absent. B. Board Member Reports Chair Rice — We will start with Jim Vogel. Member Vogel stated: This month I have nothing to report. I'm waiting the outcome of the determination of whether two or more people can work together on an event. Member Paris stated: Not so much to report. I just had a question. For the Food Trucks who determines the trucks that come out each month? Is it the guy with the Kona Dogs or do you guys? Ryan Rinaldo - Yes. It is Doug Trovillion and this is the third time and each time he gets about 20 — 30 applications and he kind of rations it out between them. Last month we did have one truck that received several complaints, the Lobster Truck, so we asked him to not send that truck back to us and he was totally amenable to that. Similarly, I asked him to send back the Korean Taco Box for this month. I know he likes to ration who gets to attend what show and since our event is so successful, he tries to ration it evenly between the trucks. Member Paris — I was just curious. I noticed the trucks last time it seemed like there was -some overlap in reference to the type of food that was offered. There weren't as many options in terms of ethnic types of food. I don't know how to put it. It looks like with the next set of trucks that is not going to be an issue. Just one thing that I was thinking about. Ryan Rinaldo — I will see Doug on Thursday and I can mention that. P&R 6/6/2017/7 Chair Rice — All I would like to do is to clarify to be added to the record as a reflection of some items regarding the presentation that was done at our May 2017 meeting with our City Clerk and City Attorney, Michelle Longo and Daniel Langley, met with us. As follow up items I would like added to our minutes this month that we have the clarification of Member Hendrix has asked for a description of the Parks Advisory Board Members and expectations of the role of a member. As well as what Jim (Member Vogel) just said and I will reiterate, an opinion on board members working on projects outside of a board meeting or outside of a public workshop. There was some suggestion he was making that it could be under the guise of a volunteer citizen as opposed to a board member. That is something he was going to research and get back with us. I would like now to ask any of the other board members if they can recall any additional items that we were anticipating follow up. This would be the time to state that so that we can have it added as part of the minutes and ask staff to follow up with the Clerk's office for us. Any other recollections? Member Harnage — I apologize for not making last month's board meeting, I ended up in the hospital. I know at the meeting prior to that I volunteered to go around to the different parks and just kind of familiarize myself with Reiter Park and Candyland Park and from the ones that I have seen I have nothing to report back that are any glaring recommendations. I did go to the Food Truck event last month. It was awesome. The music especially was great. He was playing all kinds of things. Especially Jimmy Buffett music. Of course he was in concert two (2) days later and we were there. It all worked out great. We really enjoyed it and I just wanted to let you all know that I am spreading the word and letting people know to show up for that too. Chair Rice — Let me ask you Bruce, which month would you like to bring back to the board and have a detailed discussion regarding the Chili Cook -Off? Member Harnage — July, next month. What day is our meeting on next month? Chair Rice — Wednesday, July 5. If you would like to make that decision at this time, we will add it the agenda for next month, discussion on the Chili Cook -Off and at that time board members will come with the anticipation of having that discussion and any thoughts we have on it. Be prepared to take on a roll within the Cook -Off since this is a total board member supported project, it is our fundraiser for the year. So would you like to do that in July? Member Harnage — Yes Chair Rice — (to Donna Alt-Bowes/recording secretary) Can you have that added to the Agenda? Do you have anything else Bruce? Member Harnage — No. That is it. Member Coad — I get to be lucky. Hey Bruce, I already signed up to do the judging. I will also sign up to work with Ryan on the supplies. So, you already have one position filled on that. One of my questions is, and I apologize, I did not get to read the minutes, I am sitting here reading them now because my computer is out, I can't download anything. Did we get it passed to have the Commission proclaim next month, July as National Recreation and Parks Month? Chris Capizzi — That is going to be going on the June 19 agenda. We will get that declared and we will be good to go. Member Coad — Ryan have you been able to check on getting the health fair? Ryan Rinaldo — A little bit. I have been storing all of the information on the vendors that you guys have provided into an easy to read email list for once we garner more vendor and an exact date. I have been taking a look at the calendar with Donna to look at some dates in October. She P&R 6/6/2017/8 has been updating all the calendars. Just wanted to give her some kudos. If you guys check out the City website, it has been updated tremendously with the Community Building calendar and all of our events. Member Coad — Thank you Donna. Chair Rice — Is that now our public calendar the way that it used to be? Chris Capizzi — Yes. Everybody can see that now. The reason we took it down in the first place was when it transferred over from the old software/internet, it had incorrect times on it so we had people calling about times/dates that were actually not available. Donna has done a great:job with updating that and also putting the events on there as well Member Coad — For Celebrate the Season, I will be sitting -down with Chris and Ryan. We have spoken a couple of times. I have a list of some sale items if they are still available to order for prizes. Chris knows as I bug him about it. I try to get them cheap so we can do some fairly nice gifts for the kids and pick his brain or anybody else on the board's brains if you all have been there. I like to add a game every year something new for the kids although we are soon going to run out of space until Reiter Park is open. If you have something in mind or something you see please make mention to myself or Ryan or at the next meeting so we can start planning for that. am excited about the calendar expanding and as Jim was saying, we need to get clarification about meeting about events. The one thing the attorney did say we could do was to call a workshop and as little as two (2) people can show up because it is not a mandated meeting for everybody. Member Putz — We had the groundbreaking of Reiter Park on May 15. Not all of you were here but some of you were. I did get to fish in the pond over there in Reiter Park with my granddaughter and two of her friends. They had put the fence up while we were there which made it a little difficult to get out. Did they remove that fence? Can you use that fishing pier or no? Chris Capizzi — No, the entire park is going to be under construction. Member Putz — When we drove by the other night my wife said it looked like they had opened that up again. Chris Capizzi — If they did it was probably to get something in there because they are going to be expanding that lake eventually. We don't want anybody near_ that pier or anything just because of liability purposes. We want to make sure everybody is safe. Member Putz- Father Daughter Dance. That was a wonderful experience for my granddaughter and myself. They say that I could not pass for her father though because there is such as age difference between us. The Seminole State College group that filmed it must have had a picture board or something because we were told what we had to do and how we had to do it. They gave us the different scenes that we had to do and then they put that whole thing together. If you have seen it, it is smooth and quick but that took three (3) hours. They were young students. It was some kind of student class project and there was no professor or teacher there. It was just a nice experience for me and my granddaughter to do that. We would be willing to welcome people on the 16'h if you want us to because we might be recognized. It was just a great experience, the whole deal. P&R 6/6/2017/9 Chris Capizzi — We will have Dennis Stelling returning again to be our DJ. He is phenomenal. He does jobs for Disney, ESPN and Universal and he gives us a good rate because he lives in Longwood. Normally, we not be able to afford him. Chair Rice — I did see the video and it was heartwarming. It was just a real good, feel good Hallmark style production. The whole message, the whole feeling that you got after watching it. It was heartwarming. I liken it to the way Publix does their holiday commercials. I think Judi, when you are able to see it, you will understand where I am coming from then. Member Putz — I think last time I watched it, it had like 500 views. I don't know if that is going to translate to people coming to the dance. Ryan Rinaldo — We are going to be prepared for a little bump in attendance. Chair Rice — Do our videos get uploaded to YouTube as well? Chris Capizzi — We have not done anything on YouTube so far. I probably want to check public records and just to let Michelle (Longo) know before we did anything like that. That is a great suggestion. Chair Rice — If you search Longwood in YouTube you will find an interesting variety of videos. UFO sightings and hauntings and all kinds of Longwood stuff. A lot of drones. Videos of drones over Reiter Park. Chris Capizzi — Speaking of drones. I am going to be contacting an aerial agency. They have offered to take aerial pictures of the park throughout the year for $75 per month. It is a great -way to document the progression of the construction and just really see a difference. Member Coad — We can put them on the website. Chris Capizzi — Yeah. We want to show everybody. Member Putz — That kind of stuff is interesting. Member Coad — Well it draws people's interest to come see the completion. I have two (2) more questions. You people talk and I think about things. Ryan and I had a conversation when I was over visiting him about the space out front of your office where we offer stuff in the evening. It is empty all day long and I made the suggestion that we should try to get some classes in there in the day to rent it. Especially senior citizen events. It goes back to the senior citizens list of friendly communities that we now belong to. We have to constantly be improving what we offer to the seniors to hang on to that designation. The other topic that I heard at a Commission meeting is about reviewing the community building. I know when I was at Lake Mary for the health fair, at their massive community building out there on the lake, I asked for some literature on a breakdown of their costs. Of course we are not what they are, but it would give us something to compare. Chris Capizzi — Judi, we have a study that has four (4) different models. I worked with Amy this past October to put this together in reference to changing the rates. We took into account the rates and the way that they are priced for about four (4) different venues. We are currently looking to do a study on what we should be charging in order to make it work. Member Coad — That is where I was headed. I remember the review being done last, with Amy when she was here. P&R 6/6/2017/10 Chris Capizzi — We are updating the information. Member Coad — So we are updating that. The Commission talked about wanting to address that and I was just curious. I would greatly appreciate it if you gave the board an opportunity in advance of any commission presentation to take a look at it and have our input about what we may or may not see. Lots of times different eyes see different things. Chris Capizzi — Sure. It might be less than a month because I might be presenting to them pretty soon. Member Coad — Don't tell me the next meeting. Chris Capizzi — It might be within the next couple of months. Member Coad- You could email it to all the board members to please take a look at this. I do remember the discussion and I remember the Commission brought it up last year and I think it was brought up again about two (2) meetings ago. Chair Rice — It was brought up at the budget meeting workshop. I will add that we did have some discussion, though limited, at one of our board meetings regarding the information that Amy did put together. I made the suggestion to add to it a comparative analysis spreadsheet on what the other cities, communities, public and private venues are actually charging. Chris Capizzi — Sure. That is easy to do. I will probably get some numbers and get with Donna and we can put a spreadsheet together with just the different rates. We have the hard part done in reference to structuring four (4) different models on what we would like to do. We can certainly look up the rates for the venues around the area. Chair Rice — Sure and some of them are structured similar to some of our models. Chris Capizzi — and some are very different. Weekend blocks, weekday blocks, etc. Chair Rice — Minimum eight (8) hours if you want a Saturday or Sunday, none of this two (2) hour stuff. We have that rule, one booking per day and if we don't have a minimum we cut ourselves short on prime time rates. Chris Capizzi — Two years ago I did bring it upon the Commission to actually try and raise the rates but that did not happen. Member Coad — I think they are more enticed right now so they are looking at or are willing to look at a new rate structure. Chris Capizzi — It is nice to see that they want to do that. Absolutely. We can give them the information and they can decide. Chair Rice — I agree with Judi. The opportunity to review it with this board and before going to the Commission would be nice. I know that the Commissioners will not be meeting the first meeting of July. As usual they have cancelled their first July meeting.
