A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A FEE
SCHEDULE FOR RECREATIONAL/COMMUNITY
FACILITIES, SPECIAL EVENTS AND THE LEISURE
SERVICES DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS,
SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 50-62, City of Longwood Code of Ordinances provides for the adoption of a fee
schedule via resolution by the City Commission for all recreation/community facilities; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 58, City of Longwood Code of Ordinances provides for the City Commission to
establish various fees relating to special events; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Longwood has determined the amendment and
adoption of the fee schedules set forth in this Resolution are equitable and appropriate and are in the
best interest of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Longwood,
Florida, as follows:
SECTION I: In accordance with Chapter 50, Article III, City of Longwood Code of Ordinances, the
following schedule of fees for all recreation/community facilities is hereby adopted:

Maintenance Fee for Amphitheater Stage Rental
A proposed maintenance fee of $50.00 would be included in the small and large amphitheater stage rental
fee which could be designated for the upkeep and maintenance of the park. This would not be an additional
fee, but would be built, into the total for each amphitheater stage rental.
SECTION II: In accordance with Chapter 58, City of Longwood Code of Ordinances, the
following schedule of fees are adopted for Special Events:

SECTION III: Waiver. The City Commission may waive fees established by this Resolution or any
portion thereof, if the Commission deems such waiver in the best interest of the City.
SECTION IV. Severability. If any portion of this Resolution is determined to void, unconstitutional,
or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this Resolution shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION V: Conflicts. In the event of any conflicts between this Resolution and any other
resolutions or policies, this Resolution shall control to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION VI: Appendix. The fee schedules set forth in this Resolution shall be incorporated into the
appropriate appendix or appendixes, if applicable.
SECTION VH: Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
