The"Downtown Longwood Cruise-In"Car Show will be held on Saturday,June 12, 2021,from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Historic District of Longwood. B. The City of Longwood will host a flag retirement ceremony on Monday,June 14, 2021,from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.,at Reiter Park, 311 West Warren Avenue. American flags that need to be retired can be brought to Reiter Park for proper disposal. C. The Annual Father and Daughter Dance will be held on Wednesday,June 16, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Longwood Community Building,200 West Warren Avenue. The cost is $5.00 per person. 5. PROCLAMATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS A. Commissioner Morgan to recognize Zechariah Cartledge for his contributions to fallen First Responders and the Running 4 Heroes organization set to honor every First Responder lost in the line of duty and support those injured First Responders whose injuries were duty-related. 6. BOARD APPOINTMENTS A. Appointment of a member of the Commission as the primary representative to the Council of Local Governments in Seminole County(CALNO). B. The City Commission to hear a public request for Special Exception (SPE 01-21)to the City of Longwood Development Code (LDC)Article III, Development Design Standards,Sections 3.2.3 (D)(7)and 3.2.3(D)(10)for a proposed Twistee Treat ice cream restaurant at the intersection of East Street and State Road 434. 12. REGULAR BUSINESS A. Schedule Thursday,September 9, 2021,and Monday, September 20,2021,as regular City Commission Meeting dates and public hearing dates for the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2021/2022 Budget. B. Read by title only,set June 21,2021 as the public hearing date and approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 21-2200,a Small Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment(SPA 01-21)for properties at 250 North Street and Pineda Street. C. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No.21-1565,which amends the Fiscal Year 2020/2021 budget to recognize fixed assets proceeds for the Fire Department. CC 06-07-2021/2 D. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 21-1566,which amends the Fiscal Year 2020/2021 budget and authorize funding to cover costs related to Emergency Repairs of the City Lift Stations. E. City Commission to affirm the appointment of Acting City Manager Clint Gioielli as Board Member and approve Magdala Ridore, HR Generalist as the Alternate Board Member for the Public Risk Management(PRM) Group Health Trust Board and the Public Risk Management of Florida Property and Casualty Pool.
