A. The City of Longwood will host a "Longwood Luau" a Hawaiian-
themed party on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until
3:00 p.m. at Reiter Park, 311 West Warren Avenue.
B. The "Downtown Longwood Cruise-In" Car Show will be held on
Saturday,June 11, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the
Historic District of Longwood.
C. The City of Longwood will host a Flag Retirement Ceremony on
Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Reiter
Park, 311 West Warren Avenue. American flags that need to be
retired can be brought to Reiter Park for proper disposal.
D. The "Senior Matinee will be held on Wednesday,June 15, 2022,
from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Longwood Community
Building, 200 West Warren Avenue. This month's feature is The
Marksman.
E. The City of Longwood in partnership with Ladies 327 will host a
"Juneteenth" celebration on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 11:00
a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Reiter Park, 311 West Warren Avenue.
5. PROCLAMATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS
A. Proclaiming June 19, 2022, as "Juneteenth Day" in the City of
Longwood.
B. Recognition of Aaron Holland for his service as the Citizens on
Patrol (COP) Chief.

September 19, 2022, as regular City Commission Meeting dates
and public hearing dates for the adoption of the Fiscal Year
2022/2023 Budget.
B. City Commission to designate one Member of the City
Commission to be a voting delegate for the City of Longwood for
the August 2022 Florida League of Cities Annual Business
Meeting.
C. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 22-1602; Florida
Department of Transportation (FDOT) State Highway Lighting,
Maintenance, and Compensation Agreement.
D. Approve the award for Request for Proposal (RFP) #03312022 to
the Florida League of Cities Florida Municipal Insurance Trust
(FMIT) as the Group Medical Insurance Program provider for the
city.
