A. The Senior Matinee will be held on Wednesday, December 21,
2022, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Longwood
Community Building, 200 West Warren Avenue. This month’s
feature is Last Holiday.
B. The City of Longwood will host the 9th Annual “Chili Cook-Off” in
conjunction with the monthly car show on Saturday, January 14,
2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Historic District of
Longwood located off of Church Avenue. A taster’s kit can be
purchased in advance for $5.00 or on the day of the show for
$7.00.
C. The “Downtown Longwood Cruise-In” Car Show will be held on
Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the
Historic District of Longwood located off of Church Avenue.
5. PROCLAMATIONS / RECOGNITIONS
A. District #2 Nomination of Business Person of the Month Award
for January 2023 (Presentation scheduled for January 16, 2023).
B. Nomination of the Beautification Award (Presentation scheduled
for January 16, 2023).
C. Nomination and selection of the recipient of the Martin Luther
King, Jr. Good Citizenship Award (Presentation scheduled for
January 16, 2023).

D. Recognition of Northland Church for their participation in the
Hurricane cleanup.

A. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 22-1623, regarding
bonds sought by Orlando Health for a new free-standing
emergency department.
12. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. City Commission to consider extending an allowance for vehicles
over 12,000 pounds to travel over a portion of Wildmere Avenue
in association with a Temporary Use Permit (TUP 01-23) at 150
Wildmere Avenue.
