A. Longwood Movie in the Park will be held on Friday, March 3,
2023, beginning at 6:30 p.m., Reiter Park, 311 West Warren
Avenue. This is a free event and the movie will be Cloudy with a
Chance of Meatballs 2.
B. The City of Longwood will be hosting the final tryouts for the
Orlando Prowlers Professional Dance Team at Reiter Park, 311
West Warren Avenue, on Saturday February 25, 2023, from 6:00
p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Come and see these professional dancers
give it their all in an attempt to make the team. Food and
beverages will be available for purchase.
5. PROCLAMATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS
A. District#3 Nomination of the Business Person of the Month
Award for March 2023.
6. BOARD APPOINTMENTS
A. District#2 Nomination to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board.
B. City Clerk recommends, in accordance with the requirements of
Chapters 175 and 185, Florida Statutes,that the City Commission
appoint Stefanie Reardon as the fifth member to the Board of
Trustees for the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan.
7. PUBLIC INPUT
A. Presentation: Mr. Bryce Mendenhall, the president of Sunshine
Water Services, will provide a utility overview.

A. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 23-1626, which
amends the Defined Contribution Retirement Plan for the City
Manager and Elected Officials of Longwood.
B. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 23-1627, approving
a modification to the Subgrant Agreement between the Division
of Emergency Management and the City of Longwood for a time
extension related to the Fire Station Facility, Hurricane Safe
Room, Code Plus and Generator— Phase 1 Project.
C. City Commission approval of recommended event dates for the
I2023 Celebrate the Season, Longwood Christmas Parade, and
Tree Lighting.
D. City Commission discussion and direction on the type of
surveillance camera to be installed at the Arbor Park Dog Park.
