will host an International Overdose Awareness Day Event on
Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at
Reiter Park, 311 West Warren Avenue. This is a free event.
5. PROCLAMATIONS / RECOGNITIONS
A. District #1 Nomination of the Business Person of the Month
Award for September 2023.
B. Presentation of the 2023 Key to the City Award to Pamela
Redditt.
C. Presentation of the 2023 Key to the City Award to Clint Gioielli.
D. Proclaiming August 26, 2023, as Overdose Awareness Day in the
City of Longwood.

A. Approve the Minutes of the July 17, 2023 Regular Meeting.
B. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for August 2023.
C. Approve the Monthly Financial Report for July 2023.
D. Approve an increase to purchase order #23-00021 in the amount
of $10,000 for Emergency Vehicle Repair, Inc. for costly and
unexpected repairs needed to continue preventative
maintenance services and necessary repairs.
E. Approve a donation in the amount of $1,000 to SafeHouse of
Seminole from the State Law Enforcement Confiscation fund.
F. Approve a donation in the amount of $2,000 to Ali’s Hope
Foundation from the State Law Enforcement Confiscation fund.
11. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 23-2239 regarding
Temporary Use Permits and Food Trucks.
12. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 23-1641, which
proposes updates to the City’s fee schedule for Community
Development.
B. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 23-1642 authorizing
the execution of an Interlocal Disaster Debris Site Agreement
between Seminole County and the City of Longwood.
C. Read by title only, set September 6, 2023, as the public hearing
date, and approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 23-2242,
which adjusts the rate for Residential Solid Waste and Recycling
Collection Services with Waste Pro of Florida Inc.
