p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Reiter Park.

B. Recognition of Courtesy Towing owner/operator Mark Jones for
his efforts in facilitating valuable fire department training.

A. Approve the Minutes of the April 1, 2024, Regular Meeting.

11. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. City Commission to hear a public request for a Special Exception
(SPE 01-24) to allow a reduced rear setback for a single-family
home addition at 700 Mendez Way.
12. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. City Commission approval of an Interlocal Agreement between
Seminole County and the City of Longwood regarding Lake
Management of Twin Lake.
B. Read by title only, set May 6, 2024, as a public hearing date, and
approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 24-2250, which
creates a new Article VIII of Chapter 82, taxation of the City
Code, authorizing the Inclusion of Twin Lakes Properties for the
purpose of a Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) to fund Lake
Management of Twin Lake.

or any particular religion, denomination, faith, creed or belief. Persons in attendance
at the City Commission meeting are invited to stand during the opening invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. However,
such invitation shall not be construed as a demand, order, or any other type of command. No person in attendance at
the meeting shall be required to participate in any opening invocation that is offered. You may exit the City Commission
Chambers and return upon completion of the opening invocation if you do not wish to participate in or witness the
opening invocation.
