A. The City of Longwood will host “Battle of the Food Trucks” on
Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the
Historic District of Longwood. Parking will be located in the
Longwood SunRail Station parking lot or back parking lot of
South Seminole Hospital.
B. The “Downtown Longwood Cruise-In” Car Show will be held
on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the
Historic District of Longwood.
C. The Annual Father and Daughter Dance will be held on
Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.,
Longwood Community Building, 200 West Warren Avenue.
The cost is $5.00 per couple and $2.50 for each additional
person.
D. The “Downtown Longwood Food Trucks” will be held on
Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the
corner of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and West Church Avenue.

A. Approve Minutes of the May 7, 2018 Regular Meeting.
B. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for May 2018.
C. Approval of Resolution No. 18-1464; Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT) State Highway Lighting, Maintenance
and Compensation Agreement.
D. Approve appointment of Mr. J. D. Cox as board member and
Ms. Lee Ricci as the alternate board member for the Public
Risk Management (PRM) Group Health Trust Board.
E. Approval to award a construction agreement for the C.R. 427
Sewer Extension Project and issuance of a purchase order in
the amount of $1,920,945.70 to Central Florida Environmental
Corporation.
F. Approval to award a construction agreement for the
Longwood FCCP Irrigation Pipeline and issuance of a
purchase order in the amount of $219,680 to Cathcart
Construction Company.
11. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. Read by title only, set June 18, 2018 as the second public
hearing date, and approve the first reading of Ordinance No.
18-2136, a general update to the Longwood Development Code.
12. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. Schedule Wednesday, September 5, 2018 and Monday,
September 17, 2018 as regular City Commission Meeting dates
and public hearing dates for the adoption of the Fiscal Year
2018/2019 Budget.
B. City Commission to designate one Member of the City
Commission to be a voting delegate for the City of Longwood
on August 16-18, 2018 at the Florida League of Cities 92nd
Annual Conference in Hollywood.
