A. Annual Rotation of Deputy Mayor.
B. Senior Matinee will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018
from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Longwood Community Building,
200 West Warren Avenue. This month’s feature is Leave No
Trace.
C. The Longwood Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday,
December 1, 2018 beginning at 3:00 p.m. and will make its way
through the Historic District of Longwood.
D. Longwood Movie in the Park will be held on Saturday, December
1, 2018 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Reiter Park, 311 West Warren
Avenue. This is a free event and the movie will be How the
Grinch Stole Christmas.
5. PROCLAMATIONS / RECOGNITIONS
A. Proclaiming November 5, 2018 as “Orlando Health South
Seminole Hospital 100 Years of Caring Day”.
B. Proclaiming the month of November 2018 as “National American
Indian Heritage Month”.
C. Recognition of Commissioner Drummond’s Completion of the
2018 Institute of Elected Municipal Officials held October 5 -7,
2018.

10. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Approve Minutes of the October 1, 2018 Regular Meeting and
October 15, 2018 Executive Session.
B. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for October and November
2018.
C. Approve the Monthly Financial Report for October 2018.
D. Approve two purchase orders to Thompson Pump, one in the
amount of $50,981 for the Historic District Lift Station Pump and
the other in the amount of $42,363 for the Columbus Harbour
Lift Station Pump and authorize a budget transfer in the amount
of $843.
E. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $36,600 to Central
Florida Liftstations, Inc. for the installation of the emergency
pumps for the Historic District Lift Station and the Columbus
Harbour Lift Station.
F. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $36,817.09 to De
Nora Water Technologies for a replacement rectifier for the
Chlorine Generator at Water Plant II and authorize a budget
transfer in the amount of $1,817.09.

A. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 18-2148, amending
the Internal Revenue Codes for the City of Longwood Police
Officers and Firefighter Pension and Trust Fund.
B. Read by title only and adopt Ordinance No. 18-2149, amending
the City Code with respect to Homestead Property Tax
Exemptions for certain low-income Seniors.
12. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 18-1482, which
amends the City’s Lien Reduction Policy.
B. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 18-1485, which
amends the fiscal year 2017/2018 budget.
C. Approval of a Joint Planning Area (JPA) Inter-Local Agreement
between the City of Longwood and the City of Altamonte Springs
regarding annexations and utility service in an area on South
Ronald Reagan Boulevard south of North Street.
D. Approve a Historic District Matching Grant Application (HG 02 -
18) for a property located at 241 West Warren Avenue.
E. City Commission to confirm the appointment of Mr. Shad Smith
as the Director of Public Works.
F. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $35,510.01 to
Cummings Power South for emergency repairs of a Fire
Department Vehicle, Unit 714.
G. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 18-1486, which
amends the Fiscal Year 2018/2019 Budget for emergency repairs
to a Fire Department Vehicle.
