A. Celebrate the Season/Tree Lighting event will be held on Friday,
December 7, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Reiter Park,
311 West Warren Avenue. There will be ice-skating, train rides,
food, games, a chance to visit with Santa Claus, the lighting of
the tree around 6:15 p.m. and a laser light show finale.
B. The “Downtown Longwood Cruise-In” Car Show will be held on
Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the
Historic District of Longwood.
C. Santa Visits Longwood neighborhoods on Friday, December
14th, Saturday, December 15th and Sunday, December 16th
from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. or however long it takes to finish
each area. Routes are as follows:
Friday: North of State Road 434 between U.S. Highway 17-92
and Ronald Reagan Boulevard (this includes a few
neighborhoods just East of U.S. Highway 17-92 and North of
State Road 434).
Saturday: North of State Road 434, West of Ronald Reagan
Boulevard as far as Sleepy Hollow.
Sunday: South of State Road 434, West of U.S. Highway 17-92.
D. Don’t miss the opportunity to take a picture with Reiter Park’s
own 7-foot Santa on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2:30 p.m.
until 5:00 p.m. at Reiter Park, 311 West Warren Avenue. There
will be bounce houses and light refreshments available for

purchase. Please bring your own camera for pictures. This is a
free event.

A. Approve Minutes of the October 15, 2018 Regular Meeting.
B. Approve the Monthly Expenditures for November 2018.
C. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $3,578 to EEG
Enterprises for access to the Falcon software and Lexi
automated closed-captioning service.
D. Approve a purchase order in the amount of $36,304.34 to
Kimley- Horn and Associates, Inc. for Professional Consulting
Services related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self
Evaluation and Transition Plan.
11. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 18-1481,
establishing the City’s Notice of Intent to use the Uniform
Method for collecting Non-Ad Valorem Assessments in 2019.
B. City Commission to hear a public request for Special Exception
(SPE 04-18), to allow a reduction in the side and rear setbacks of
the Longwood Development Code to allow a decrease in the
setback requirements for an accessory structure at 1040
Alameda Drive.

12. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 18-1484, extending
the deadline for a Final Site Plan Approval for the Longwood
TOD Townhome Project from December 30, 2018 to July 31,
2019.
B. Approve a change order in the amount of $18,690 to purchase
order #18-01771 for Cathcart Construction for the Florida
Central Parkway Irrigation Pipeline Project.
C. Read by title only and adopt Resolution No. 18-1487, which
amends the Fiscal Year 2018/2019 Budget to provide for a
transfer of funds to cover the requested change order to the
Cathcart Construction purchase order #18-01771 for the Florida
Central Parkway Irrigation Pipeline Project.
D. Read by title only, set December 17, 2018 as the public
hearing date and approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 18 -
2150, authorizing the Issuance of Debt in the amount of
$3,410,044 to finance the Longwood Septic Tank Program –
Transmission Main Project (Altamonte Force Main) and
authorize the execution of a State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan No.
WW590520.
